I would not recommend buying this item. I used it to remove a pressed-on gear with a shaft diameter of 1.375 inches. It makes a loud screeching noise when it goes to the high-pressure mode, and with about all the force I could apply to the operating lever, the maximum pressure obrtainable was about 6000 to 7000 psi. At this pressure the ram barely moved. Like the other review stated, I believe the check valves are not seating properly. Junked it and bought an Enerpac like I should have in the beginning. Too late to get a refund. Also insulting, the price had dropped $82.00.

Got my press back up and working.
Fixed my westward press. very long hose. Had to change to 1/4” npt quick fittings.

TEST ON A RAM BEFORE USING IT.
AFTER HAVING TO RESEAL ALL THE BALLS UNDER THE 4 SOCKET HEAD CAP SCREWS AND PUTTING IN THE CORRECT SPRINGS THAT ACTUALLY PUSHED ON THE BALLS IT DID WORK. THANKS THAT I AM KNOLEDGABLE ABOUT WORKING ON THESE PUMPS OR THE 1ST JOB I TRIED TO USE IT ON WOULD OF BEEN A COMPLETE FLOP. PUMP SHOULD OF BEEN TESTED BEFORE IT LEFT THE FACTORY. THIS PROOVES CHINA HAS ALOT TO LEARN ABOUT QUALITY CONTROL.L MAYBE THEY SHOULD HIRE DEMING FROM JAPAN. HE SHURE STRAIGHTENED THEM OUT .
