Took a chance with no Reviews and I'm happy I did!
The media could not be loaded. I've been wanting to get something like this for a long time since I do a lot of artwork that requires tracing. I also thought it'd be a good idea to help teach my 4yr old how to write/draw and have more fun learning. This was the only option that I could find that was rechargeable, had magnets, different light settings, practically weightless, and a nice sleek shape for comfort! The pencil clip is also magnetic which makes it even better! All for such a good price! I didn't see any reviews so I was really hesitant to be the first to order one but I'm glad I did! So I took the time to write my honest review of it and show pictures for future customers. It arrived 2 days after placing the order. The box was a little bent up, but it was bubble wrapped and safely wrapped inside the white box that's pictured. Make sure that you get all of the other items out before throwing the box away! Everything was so weightless that I almost threw the charger away! The magnets are even stronger than I expected! They can be placed anywhere on the board and snap to it easily. I tested the light/tracing with an 8.5x11 piece of paper that I drew 3 different boats on it. And as you can see, it shines through the 2nd sheet with no problem. The only thing that I worry about with this product is my daughter being a little too rough with it or accidently coloring/scratching it up, so I might order one just for her instead.

Fantastic for artists and painters!
This is a fantastic little light table. I own a really large, heavy handmade wooden light table- but I’ve often wanted to be able to paint at my desk while tracing my drawings.I’m a painter, my process often involves making a base drawing and then laying watercolor paper on top, and painting without those lines being present. What’s often hard for me with light tables is that the amount of brightness that you need will vary depending on the level of detail you want to capture, or even the type of paper. If you’re painting over a sketch, depending on the type of paint you use, sometimes you need to be able to see what a painting is actually looking like without the light. Especially in the case of goache, where the thickness of the paint will not have a lot of impact on the visual effect because it’s opaque and matte, but when using the light table, the thickness shines through. See pics for examples of this. This light table fabulously solves all of these issues at once. There’s a big power button that you can press to have the light instantly turn off- useful when checking your work to see how it’s coming. You can also press and hold the power button to adjust the brightness level needed. The low setting is quite low, would be great for tracing paper but can still capture detail on 300lb Bristol. I also tested the various levels with Stonehenge paper, and several varieties of rough cold press watercolor paper- including Arches, which I’ve had issues tracing with in the past. All work fabulously. This is the brightest light table I’ve worked with, and I’ve worked at an animation lab. I included a couple close up shots of the brightest setting and the lowest setting through printer paper and Canson Bristol, so you can get an idea of the level of detail possible to see through this table.I’m really excited to continue using it! Also included a picture of the light table next to my iPad Pro 1st gen to give fellow artists a sense of the scale. Great for 8.5x11 printer paper as well as 9x12 specialty art papers.I like to tape down my work for extra security, but this light table did come with four magnets for clamping the paper down. I was surprised at how secure they are, but I haven’t attempted to use just the magnets to hold down my papers yet... I think they would do just fine, but old habits die hard.Would absolutely recommend for painters, designers, animators, anyone who works from digital to traditional.

Exceptional quality, performance, size of pad but most important a company that listens.
This light pad exceeds all my expectations. It is light weight with some texture which makes it easy to hold unlike others that are so smooth they are slippery which makes it easy to drop or slide out of my hands. The texture of the screen is smooth, easy to trace or sketch on. The light is perfect. I can see what I need to if I dim the light to lowest setting. If I choose brightest setting I have no issues with eye sensitivity. I had seen in other reviews they wished it came with 4 magnets. I believe two is sufficient but the company obviously cares what we the consumer wants as mine came with four magnets. This makes them #1 in my book. Not many companies seem to care let alone give the customer what they believe will improve the product. There is a ruler on two sides of screen. The numbers are easy to read and I find this to be very helpful. I will use this light pad on a regular basis. I do own another light pad which has none of the qualities this one has. The other one I have used only a couple of times as it is slippery and uncomfortable to work with. I definitely recommend this light pad to anyone looking for exceptional quality, it does everything the manufacturer promises it will do and the price is very affordable. I believe it is worth every penny and more.

Good, but could be better.
It's nice and bright, you can see through the sheet fairly clearly when it's on full power, it's light weight, and easy to use.Only issue is the battery. When I saw the pad and cord, I was expecting a chargeable device. But the "charger" I recieved was only a cord, and the device does not work without it.With the cord being built pretty much the exact way same as a charger, I'm worried that I might end up breaking it one day, and though the cord does have a decent length, I question if it's long enough for the user to be comfortablely hooked up to 24/7.That being said, I don't think the product had ever claimed to be chargeable, so I suppose if this disappoints me, it would be more my fault than theirs.
