I purchased this stand for our church to take church directory pictures with. It is so sturdy that we also use it for holding backdrops for plays and backgrounds for special speakers. We are very happy with this purchase.

This is your typical Chinese constructed equipment, made for amateur use. This is not pro grade (hence the cheap price). That said, this backdrop holder works very well for the intended purpose. It is made of painted tubular steel and is easy to assemble. The folding triangular bases work well. It is easy to adjust and stays locked in place. The 4 clips/clamps are enough to hold our backdrop. We are using a lightweight vinyl backdrop. If you were to use a heavier cloth backdrop, I suspect that you might get some sagging on the top bar based on the way that this is constructed.Overall decent product that does what we expected it to do for a good price.

I actually bought this item to use as the pole to hold he backdrop fabric. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CNWZ6L3S?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_titleI used my vice to crimp one of the pole-end flat, and drilled a 3/4" hole to fit the wing-nut on both sides of the stands.The pole I used can hold very heavy backdrop fabric without bending.Yes, it was a pricier option, but now I have a backdrop system that can hold any fabric without the bend in the middle.

I had a customer that needed a backdrop banner. We normally don't do them but since it was a good customer I decided to order something in for them. The was exactly what we needed and kept a great custome happy. win/win!

It does its jobs and is fine for the price. The base is t all the great and is easy to tip over. The pole is t super strong and bends when you put weight on it. Don't expect something high end but it will do the job
