I do wonder why I see unhappy buyers with a product that performs so well for me. In many cases I know why. User error. If you simply install these cartridges, print a page and everything isnt perfect, as it was in my case, then YOU need to google or post here for specific instructions for YOUR particular printer when installing new cartridges. Some require reset with your hardware or software.I have tried both cartridges just to be sure I have the facts. These are not your typical hit or miss cartridges that have been randomly refilled. This I can tell from the cartridge itself after removing the sticker. These are high quality cartridges manufactured for the specific reason to offer an option to the overpriced oe cartridges. These include the smart chip some printers NEED to function and double seal for the print head and even a convenient stand/holder to use for your next refill.I have tried many different aftermarket cartridges for my Cannon IP2820 and these are not the cheapest but the are without question the best I have tried. I honestly dont know why or how these could actually make my printings look clearer but side by side with my old cartridge it is easily noticeable. Of course, I will need to keep track of how many pages I get per cartridge but as of now I have no reason to keep looking for the best value in a black cartridge for my printer.

It seems the standard settings on my cannon printer specify using colored inks to make black. Turns out it needs to be reset every time I print in black to get ink from the large tank. Unaware of this I set it up once and merrily printed away. I print only in black - so naturally, the printer ran out of colored ink. When it does that it refuses to print until you replace the color cartridge - which I don't use at all. Luckily I found a hack or I'd have been out of business. It turns out that my Cannon MX490 uses a count of how many pages you've printed to determine when the tank is empty. When it reaches the requisite number of pages it assumes the tank is empty and shuts down the printer. Now the hack - when the ink empty warning on the color tank sounds - pushing the "OK" button 5 times resets the counter. Now I can print with the black cartridge regardless of the state of the color cartridge. Ha!

Choosing a third-party ink cartridge can be a crapshoot. Pick wrong and you may wind up voiding your warranty or damaging your printer. Pick right and you can save considerable amount of money. PFKink cartridges have worked out extremely well for me.Print quality for these cartridges is just as good as the Brother cartridges, at about half the price. The cartridges contain quite a bit of ink. There was no problem getting the printer to recognize the cartridge. And there is absolutely no leakage, either during the installation process or inside the printer.So far the only complaint I have is with the packaging. The two pack of cartridges I ordered came in a flimsy cardboard box that had been already opened and the cartridges had worked their way loose. That could have been a mess if the plug sealing the cartridge had come loose as well, but fortunately that wasn't the case. The manufacturer could take note and use some kind of sealing tape on their box to make sure it doesn't come open in transit.Will purchase again.

The cartridges are obviously garbage and the inspections that take place to ensure that the products are working properly I doubt even take place.Setting up and making sure they work with your specific printer was a pain. Had to jump through so many hoops to get my printer to recognize these knock off cartdriges.Not worth all the effort in my opinion.

I still get a low toner message but the cartridges work fine.

After an incredibly bad experience with a foreign discount mail-order company I decided to take a chance with a remanufactured ink cartridge thru Amazon. It worked perfectly. The printed circuit on the "foreign" cartridge was a joke.

Affordable option and good print quality. Does it last a long time? I don't honestly know, but I'll report back if it gets used up before a reasonable amount of time. This is going to become a re-buy for me.

Installation seems quite easy but I think need care to install it in the printer as these products are delegate enough. Print quality is absolutely good and lasting long time as per my experience. I usually order it when I needed as it get dry with respect to long time. Color shades are too good, quality seems pretty nice and accurate according to color combination and RGB as well as CMYK code.
