Works really well at catching flies, super sticky

I was dubious about buying these in bulk as I like to test them first. They arrived fast, they attracted flies quickly and the flies stuck fast too. They were easy to pull out of the tube, there was no smell that I noticed and they were slightly shorter than some I've had previously so they didn't tangle in my hair. In a nutshell no fuss, no bother and no flies buzzing around the room now.

After reading reviews thought I'd give them a try, so glad I did was so fed up with these fruit flies that are everywhere and they worked.

Put the first one on the ceiling as soon as the pack arrived, ripped off just below the fixing cord right away. Put second one up and it was okay. Noticed the sticky glue is seeping through the cardboard outer layer so that indicates they have been stored for a long time before I received them, I know this as the last pack I bought last year (no longer available on Amazon) was great to start with, then I used the last of them again this year and they had started to seep through, which implies this batch is old. I did think about returning them as soon as I saw they had seeped, but its not worth the hassle of repacking and taking to the post office.

After school boy error of touching the sticky paper, I found out how to handle these strips. For me hanging with gluetac worked well, suspending the strips about 10cms off the window. First day or 2 nothing, now its fruit fly armageddon, works very well, still have the odd fly, but this is cheap and effective. OH yes, looks pretty naff, sited ours to one side of window, doesnt catch the eye to much.

Estava com uma praga de moscas e estas tiras ajudaram muito. Coloquei 3 na cozinha. Só é preciso ter cuidado para não tocar com os dedos na cola porque é difícil remover.

Works very well. Lasts for a long time. easy to install. Attracts fruit and house flys easy to discard and recharge.
