Don’t Buy
The studs are on the wrong side keeping the plug from plugging in and you cannot actually use the screw in pins so it does not function with any of my monitors.

Used to connect a vintage Palm PDA to a modern computer that only has USB ports, worked fine. Also tested the additional signals (such as CTS/RTS and so on) using a terminal program, these seem to work as well. Decent product overall.

un peux de mal a installer faut deconnecter son anti virus le temps d'installer et puis ça fonctionne pour un multimetre uni-t faut changer le port com dans gestion périphérque mettre sur com 1

Excellent product it works perfectly
Whoever says it does not work, they are probably not capable to install some Windows drivers, or just stupid. I've seen so many bad reviews from other people, just bla bla bla... But the cable is very high quality. I didn't try it yet on MACOS but I see that it has as well all the necessary drivers. The drivers for Windows are real Prolific drivers so it's using the Prolific chipset.

RS232 Windows Adapter
Funktioniert super auch insbesondere mit Windows 11 25H2, einfach anstecken, und Windows installiert den Treiber selbstständig, hatte mit andere Adapter immer wieder Problem damit aber bei diesem einwandfrei. Es gibt auch im Device Manager einige Einstellmöglichkeit wie Busrate etc.
