I have never used cast iron pan before and was a bit skeptical. However, this product changed my perspective. I have been using this pan for almost 2 years and got no complains. I use less than a quarter tea spoon of cooking oil for each paniyaram and never had issue of sticking. Works same a non stick pan.

Good quality product
It is Good quality product.. metal is ok. However, during first usage, appe was stick in surface. In addition, some safety features required to handle it.. There should be a thermostatic handle or wooden handle provided to handle it if hot.

Easier to cook once heated and I got best pannuyaram ever.. forget non stick
This is the first time I tried cast iron paniyaram pan after listening bad affects of non stick… If you are used to non stick pans cast iron initially won’t be that easy.. as I believe non stick is for lazy people who can’t put much effort to health .. However after rinsing my pan thrice with hot water and scrubbing with salt and brush it was good to go.. oiling is needed before and after cooking.. Once it was heated trust me paniyaram were so easy to cook.. they did not stick .. I had best pannniyaram ever

Awesome pan!!!
Though the pan was not very smooth in looks, after I did proper seasoning many times as advised by Indus Valley, it amazed me giving the best paniyaarams and unniyappams I ever made. The dimensions and the shape of the pan are so perfect for the gas burners of the hob and the size of the appams are perfect. The dimensions are 27cm(incl. the handles)×19cm diameter x4.5cm hole diameter. Overall very happy with the purchase. Thank you, Indus Valley and Amazon.

Good product but slightly junk

Good quality Appam pan
This is a super efficient appam pan. It is just delivered to me and I washed it and seasoned it properly. I have made appams for breakfast and these became so good that I have made sweetcorn balls as an evening snack just to experiment with this pan and wow! This pan surprized me more than the first time. I am looking forward to make more guilt free reciepies as it acts like a nonstick pan and getting better with the next batch. Sorry I forgot to take pics but next time I will surely update my review with reciepe pics.
