Verizon FiOS PX12072-HG 12v 7.5ah SLA Sealed Lead Acid Genuine Powerstar AGM Rechargeable Battery (W/F-2 Adapter)

I purchased this to replace a Verizon FIOS battery that lasted many years. I purchased in January 2018, and sorry to say it only lasted until October. I would love to find a battery that would last years, like the original did.EDIT: Just as a test, I disconnected the leads, then re-connected them just to see what would happen. The Verizon FIOS unit has been quiet now for a week or more. So possibly it was an issue with poor connection, rather than poor battery. I will monitor and increase the stars for this battery, if it remains charged.

So my FiOS power backup battery died after several years (I'm sure long after it's rated lifecycle). This replacement was about 2/3's the cost of the same battery through Verizon. The only difference is that the old battery had the Verizon Yellow top (Gold) and this one is plain. I was a bit concerned at the packaging since it appeared a bit "sparse"...i.e. it was not retail packaged. I removed the old battery and slid this one in and everything was good again. It has been running six months without an issue. Only time will tell if this is as durable as the Verizon one. IMHO these are pretty much the same battery just in different packaging.

Was sold as brand newObviously not new - I don't trust it, I won't use it.Came wrapped in bubble wrap in the USPS envelope (pictured).I can see the wear on the terminals (not covered)I can see where the top has been cut off presumably to put new cells in it.I won't trust it in any of my devices - I won't charge it or use it in my home where it could explode or catch fire.may be perfectly functional and safe / refurbished by a pro - I have no way to know, thay said it was NEW.

A reasonable cost solution for the Verizon FIOS fiber optic modem UPS. Like many, the UPS battery that came with the Verizon unit failed, with an incessant beeping, telling me that the UPS battery failed. To fix that problem, there is one solution replacing the battery. After contacting Verizon, their tech person said replacing the UPS battery was my problem, not theirs. A replacement of the original GOLD TOP battery was twice the price. I ordered a replacement battery from Battery Jack, which arrived very quickly, and was installed in moments. The two best features of this transaction, a lower cost solution for the Verizon UPS modem, and the silence of having the Verizon UPS battery replaced.

These batteries work perfectly in my FIOS boxes. I needed 2 of them and have purchased many types for different systems from different vendors. These arrived from BatteryJack in good condition. The terminals are the right size and in the right place. Purchasing 2 together is a good deal, and the free prime shipping is fantastic.There is zero reason to purchase batteries from Verizon or Frontier or whomever else' system you have.

We have Frontier (used to be Verizon) FIOS in our home. The old back up battery on our system was dead and the persistent warning beep was making me nuts. Frontier wanted over $50 for a replacement battery. Very easy to install - just plug the system wires into the two prongs.This was a DEAL and I am delighted at the lack of beeping in my garage these doors. I think my neighbors are happy too - it was a loud beep!

I had to replace the battery in the Verizon premise unit again. I'm not sure if the charging system with the Verizon unit is bad or these batteries don't hold up, but I'm changing them every two years. The battery for my security system last twice as long.

I rarely write reviews but in this case it is warranted. I purchased this battery for my FIOS back up in February 2018. Last week I heard beeping, meaning the battery needed replacement. It had been guaranteed for two years. I sent them an email with a copy of my invoice. I heard right back asking for serial number on unit. No questions asked a new battery was sent postage paid that I received in two days. What a super company I highly recommend them
