Works great, my hair was thicker with first application

I did and am I thrilled with the results. My long hair looks fuller, it is softer. And it holds a wave longer. As for the directions to spray the roots and style (as with a styling brush), I cannot do that on myself. So, I spray the roots, take my ionic hair dryer and put it on "cool" Hair dryer in one hand, using the other hand's fingers to lift the hair, I set about drying it, working the airflow down to the tips. I employ five big hot rollers to give my hair added wave and smoothness. You can also use an ionic hair brush/straightener. I wind my hair up into a bun at night; in the morning I take the bun down and VIOLA! Lovely locks!

I really love this product because it does make my hair appear fuller. Only problem is, it is EXTREMELY messy. Messy as in, look at your counters and your shirt after applying/styling and wearing throughout the day. Looks like grains of salt/sawdust EVERYWHERE. Don’t ever wear black when using this product. But most people don’t care about that kind of stuff. Sadly, I do.

I’ve been using this product for years along with Nioxin’s shampoo and cream rinse. It works as stated if you follow the directions. I have very fine and thinning hair. This product has and continues to help my hair fill in. I will never use another brand on my hair.

Folks😊 after using this product now for a few weeks I have to say that it's OKAY but it's NOT as good as some of the reviews that I've been reading imo.. I was let down some... it helps a little bit to thicken and give a little volume... but that's it... and In my OPINION it's over exaggerated some on how much this helps thicken your hair.. NOW, 😐everybody's hair is DIFFERENT... But my hair has been thinning from Medicine and age when I once had VERY VERY thick hair... I was part of the '80s rock and roll scene I play drums and yes I had the HAIR... also I really took care of my hair and was given compliments on it... so I would say I know a little bit about hair ( well at least mine😉 ) and what I'm seeing from this product is Fair/ okay... Though I think you can get this amount of thickening from a Drug store brand... Anyway this is how it effected my hair... Maybe you'll get a better response from the product??... Would I buy again? Not at this price..Thanks for reading..

I do not have thinning hair (yet), but I have very long, very fine, silky hair. Because of its texture, my hair can look thinner than it is and lack volume, and we all seem to want maximum volume today. I don't like to use a lot of products on my hair. My hairdresser uses a special shampoo and conditioner, and today I took her this thickening spray. She used it after the conditioner and before the blow dry and style, and I must say, I was really surprised at how full and thick my hair feels. Usually after shampooing and conditioning, my hair can feel a little limp, but still very silky, due to its fine texture, but today, after using the Nioxin Thickening Spray, it feels full and thick, and it seems to have lots of volume. It isn't sticky at all, and, it can be used on color treated hair (which mine is). So, this isn't just for those who are, sadly, losing hair or have thinning hair. It also works wonders on hair that's thick enough but is very fine. My hair seems a lot easier to style after using this spray as well as just feeling better. Highly recommended for those with thinning hair or those who, like me, have fine hair that needs a little boost to show itself off in the best light.

I went through menopause during the first part of the pandemic with HRT assistance and decided to stay on it, as it was a flawless transition for me. However, this past Oct I began having severe pelvic discomfort and my dr took me off the HRT, cold turkey. Needless to say, my hair began leaving in droves as would be expected, jolting my body into full blown menopause in a matter of days. My hair has always been very fine so volumizing product have always been on my radar. I tried this as a hope to add some fullness to the really limp and sparse hair left on my head and didn't use much as I just figured I'd just give it a quick try on this Sunday afternoon and it is a GODSEND!!!! I just purchased 2 more bottles as back up, cause it gives me the volume I haven't had in months! Smells really great and is super easy to use. I'm back on HRT so I anticipate some of my hair loss with be organically replaced but I plan to use this stuff indefinitely. If you aren't happy with your volume, for $13 it's worth every cent. I've tried FAR more expensive products without anywhere near these results! Buy with confidence, I did notice it made it a bit harder to blow dry my hair as it felt a bit more sticky & stayed a bit damp longer (I've got super silky, straight asian hair) but I figured that was part of what was working but if you've got coarse/really curly hair it might pose a bit of a challenge, perhaps? Just an FYI for anyone who might need it?

Where has this product been all my life!? for my thin straight aging hair I now have body! it works so well! Followed the directions and then dried my hair. easy and now i don't have to use the combination of products that I have been using. That alone saves some money! I do not wash my hair daily and it works so well that when it is styled the next day, it comes out great! your hair stays soft and manageable.

It's a great product, giving hair more volume.

For a person with very thin hair like I have and loosing a lot every day, this product is a godsend for me. It really delivers the promise of thickening your hair, thus giving it much more volume, without drying and dulling it in the process. After spending so much time and money, in order to achieve this goal, I can finally say that I have found the miracle product. At last, I don't have to spend hours on setting my hair, using all kinds of expensive and useless creams, foams and sprays. Kudos to whoever created this product. You can't go wrong with this fabulous spray, also reasonably priced.
