I placed the treads on my wooden stairs. The treads worked exactly as described. When I lifted them up to reposition, they lifted easily and remained firmly in place once they were set down again. The treads have made a world of difference for my elderly dog, who was slipping on the stairs. They do not shift at all. They also look very nice. I am more than pleased with the product.

Overall happy with this product. The non residue stick pad is easy to install and clean to remove. The only thing I wish was better was the tabs to remove the plastic film from the backing. The tabs would just pull off without the plastic. Other than that, it has been a great purchase for the house.

Does not stick on floor.

We recently moved into a house with wood stairs that my little dog kept sliding and falling down when trying to climb up. After a few spills she was really nervous about using the stairs at all so I went on Amazon looking for a solution. I had 16 steps that I needed treads for and I couldn’t find a seller that offered that correct amount of treads for my situation. When I found this seller I was so pleased to see that they offered the option to purchase either 15 treads or 2 on their own, so I purchased both, giving me 17 total.The installation process was really easy. I first wiped down each step with some cleaning solution and paper towels. The treads did arrive with some rug tape but I decided not to use it. The adhesive backing on the treads was sticky enough to keep them adhered to my stairs, even though the corners do come up slightly but not enough to cause a tripping hazard. My wooden stairs have a raised edge about 1.5 inches on the front of each step which was quite uncomfortable to step on with bare feet. I wanted to cover this edge when placing the treads but was worried that they may not adhere properly since they’re technically not laying perfectly flat, but they’re flexible enough that this wasn’t an issue and they adhered perfectly. Now the stairs are a million times more comfortable to walk on barefoot and no longer a death trap for my little dog! She now fearlessly bolts up and down the stairs.I was worried that cleaning the treads might be a nightmare because of the fabric. It looks really rough and scratchy like a heavy duty doormat but the material is actually much softer than it appears. After a month of use, we had some dog hair, lint, and debris that needed to be cleaned off the treads. I used the hose on my Dyson with a brush attachment to vacuum each of the treads and everything came up really easily. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this product.

The carpet sections look good and stay in place very well. They will cling to any clean, smooth, hard surface, but can be removed and repositioned.

These are super easy to install and they look great on my stairs. However, some of the edges are fraying a bit and the cloth is starting to curl but they continue to stick to my stairs very well.

I bought these for a back stairwell that has beige rubber-like flooring. These stair treads were super easy to install - no glue or anything - and they stay right in place. The stairwell looks much better now with the dark brown treads, and it is quieter as well. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

I used this on my basement steps and they work great. They stick and don't come up and provide a safe surface that prevents slipping.
