I bought a pack of 50 of these 3 years ago, and most of them are still in use. I hang out our laundry 12 months a year; we live near Boston. If you leave them hanging on the line, instead of bringing them indoors after each use, they will degrade much faster from the ultraviolet light, cold and heat.They will fly apart in high winds, unless you wire the two halves together. I’ll try to post photos or a video later on how to do this with thin wire (22 gauge).

Be sure to measure your old ones, these new ones are smaller. OK for travel. Filmsy...the clip comes off.

Thought these were a little bigger and heavier like the ones I bought 2 yrs ago but I’ll use them in my camper

I thought Whitmor sold quality product. These clothespins are not such. They are thin. There’s no durability to them whatsoever. I’ve learned the most I could trust them with was a light t-shirt on the clothesline. I had occasions where I’d come out to my clothes laying on the ground & the clothespin broken in 1/2. Zero thickness. Within less than 2 months all them were broken in 2. A waste of time spent re-washing clothes from the ground & the money spent. No longevity period. I recommend looking for another brand.

I bought whitmore clothes pins 3 or 4 years and they were strong made well good size and the spring were strong for heavy towels and jeans. but I have since bought two different ones and they are cheap smaller and fall apart. they do not hold up well to jeans or heavy towels. very sad that they have cheapened them.

Desde mis necesidades No cumple con mis expectativas, Ya que son de material muy delgado y por lo mismo se perciben frágiles, Además de No abrir el compás lo suficiente para detener Ropa gruesa. Queda pendiente observar la resistencia del material con el que estan hechas a los elementos climáticos, Sol, humedad, etc...

Good quality for a very cheap price. These clothespins are not going to last a lifetime, but they're sturdy little suckers and I'm sure they'll last a couple years of laundry. For less than $5. Good deal.
