General's 2-Pack - Sketch & Wash Pencils 2/pkg, 4 Count

I draw and paint quite a few barn quilts and this is the best pencil I’ve found that will work on Aluminum Composite. Everything else I’ve tried doesn’t always work and they are supposed to be for Aluminum Composite. Always able to see the lines and they wash off easily.

The graphite pencils are smooth and a pleasure to draw with. You can use a brush and water to give your drawing the look of a painting.

I used this to sketch out my design on wood for woodburning. I washed off my mistakes after finishing up and it looks fantastic, no lead residue anywhere. My only problem is with AMAZON who shipped one two pack, not two. TWICE. When I contacted them regarding this they said they would issue a refund, which they did, but three months later they recharged me for not returning the item. How do you return something you never got? Many other reviewers on this product have had the same complaint AMAZON. This is not a carrier or supplier mistake. The mistake comes from Amazons warehouse workers who do not comprehend 2 packs of 2 pencils meaning 4 pencils in total order.

Wish the charcoal was darker

I had never heard of (or used) a wash pencil, but needed them for a painting webinar. They arrived on time with some other art supplies, and seem well made. I plan to give some to my granddaughter, too, because I think her artist mind is going to love them!

I find it quite good on drawing black & white drawings and then given the option to use it in special areas for shading with water .\

These are just as described…great sketching tool. The “wash” aspect is optional and adds so much fun!
