Works great!!
This works great to calm my dog during thunder storms or fireworks. My veterinarian has prescribed many sedating medications for her. Nothing worked. My older was taking these for health reasons. I just decided to try it on my other dog. Wow it worked great at keeping her calm. I give her one to go to the veterinarian. She does great. This melatonin works quickly. Sadie and I are ecstatic that I don't have to sedate her with a bunch of unnecessary medications.

safe when used as directed. Works even on my panicky dog.
this stuff works great my dog really sleeps. He can have night terrace etc. yet he sleeps through the night even through storms which normally he turns into a crazy dog. He used to like them now. I have to hide them in baloney or cheese lol this is safe for them. Also, don’t try giving them people stuff.

Possible treatment for canine hair loss
I purchased these melatonin tablets on the advice of my vet. My dog has black skin alopecia. The vet had recommended a 1-2 month trial on 6 mg melatonin, some studies say it may help with hair growth.. Today is only Clyde's 3rd day taking melatonin. I hope to add an update after 2 months or so -- 4 stars today only because I don't yet know if this will do what I hope. But so far, Clyde is taking his 2 daily pills happily as they have a strong beef aroma, so they must taste good (5 stars for taste). The vet did advise me to give them at night, as they will make him sleepy. And they do. After dinner he jumps up onto the couch and snoozes peacefully all evening.

Takes time to build up…working great
This is working well for our senior dog. He has been waking up around 3:30 am and looks around the room and barks. Doesn’t want to go out , doesn’t want to leave the room. Tried vet prescribed anxiety meds…well he’s one of the ones where “creates anxiety side effects”Ordered, this and after a few nights he is now sleeping thru the night without episodes. Takes a few days to build up in the system but has worked for us

Not for my dogs
These do not work for my dogs. Plus the pills style they don’t like so it is hard to get them to take it

They don't knocked
I have been using these for my aging Yorkie since September and she has had zero issues. She has K9 dementia and the vet recommended these along with her other med because she would walk from room to room starting around 6 pm until 2am. They haven't alleviated the "sundowning walking" but it's a lot better. No allergies or upset stomach i mix in her night meal.

Rogaine for Dogs
My dachshund was losing hair on his chest, legs and sideburns. The vet recommended melatonin to help regrow hair (it’s a genetic thing, mainly in dapple dachshunds). Ranger has been using this ever since and his hair has grown back! In the first photo you can see how naked he was on his chest. It’s all grown back!

Melatonin I bought for 2 reasons.
It does help her sleep, most of the time at least she doesn't wake me up at 2 or 3Crying ( dog is a senior just turned 11yrs in April) I'm also seeing ALittle bit of hair regrowth , might be from this. ????? But will definitely.Continue giving it to her at nite. She like it, but there isn't anything she doesn't like.
