GoPro HERO7 Black - E-Commerce Packaging - Waterproof Digital Action Camera with Touch Screen 4K HD Video 12MP Photos Live Streaming Stabilization

Bought this as a birthday gift for my teenager, and she got it set up in minutes and is already having a great time making videos at the beach. We chose model because it's not 4K, she already has issues with storage so the smaller file size is better for her. The video quality is great for her needs, action looks smooth and images are bright and very sharp. I haven't used a GoPro since several models ago and the improvement in video quality is amazing. No longer needing a water housing makes everything so much easier, at this price it's worth replacing an older GoPro for that alone. No doubt, the video quality is even better on the higher-end models, but this is more than adequate for people who just want something that is fun, durable, and waterproof and takes great video. I was skeptical of the e-commerce packaging, but it was completely fine. There's no manual, but you can find it online. And order a memory card so you can use it as soon as you get it (or you might find your teenager borrowing the memory card from one of your other devices).

1.) SOUND QUALITY- The sound quality on the camera itself is not great BUT, once a video is viewed through the phone or any other device -the sound quality is excellent. 2.) FREEZES- The camera may freeze every once in a while. To fix this is easy considering all you have to do is remove the SD Card and hold the power button until the camera turns off. Once the camera is unfrozen, you can then proceed to place the SD card back in the camera. Overall this is a great camera and even though it may seem like the quality of the sound and the video are of lower grade,but once viewed on a phone or other device both are excellent. The E-Commerce Hero7 came with the protective case, charger cable, camera, two sticker mounts and the screw to fasten the camera to the mount

For having this only a few weeks now, I'm 100% satisfied with it overall. However, I found out after having it and checking into the whole "use as a webcam" feature, it can ONLY be done with an Apple computer, via BETA software, and isn't possible without a capture card setup over USB C to DisplayPort... Would have been good to read that in here instead of GoPro's site... But I digress. It's pretty fantastic. I've used it as a dashcam (primary reason I purchased), mounted as a body cam on my vest, and both uses it takes absolutely phenomenal videos with. The stabilization while driving is superb, very much some of the best video I've taken in the car with any camera, even when pushing the limits of driving quite a lot, allowing for crystal clear videos. There's some oddness with the sound pickup, at times, but I think that's something to do with the included surround case being shifted around just enough to obstruct the microphone ports. When it isn't having that issue, the sound is as superb and clean as the video is. I've gotten it splashed with water, gotten dirt on it, and other things I may be hesitant to do with other cameras or devices. It cleans up easily and quickly with either a few drops of water and soft cloth, paper towel or napkin, and cleans up fastest with electronic cleaning wipes (aka, 50/50 split of 50% rubbing alcohol and water, works perfect especially). The downside is that the quality settings, resolution settings, are very minimalist. It can not dive below 1080p in any mode. The result is all video files are absolutely MASSIVE, even at 30fps, but especially at 60fps. And, it will split the video file every 17 minutes, making the max file sizes the most compatible at 3.8GB, just shy of the 4GB max to allow for use on almost all computer file systems without any issues... Which is good, but for my PC, wasn't necessary, and there's no way to change it from doing so. The battery life isn't terrible, it can take about an hour and a half solid of 1440p/60fps video before it's close to flat. There are some points where I have various software glitches, both on the iPad app and on the camera itself, but nothing so major that I'll tick a star for it. 9/10 times I have zero issues with it and the one off is easy to resolve, so, I'll let that go. I'll most certainly invest in a higher tier model for my next one, no doubt, as they do actually get better up the product range in pretty substantial ways, but this was an extremely solid entry point for an action camera and it's going to see a whole heck of a lot of use.

I still can't accept that I left my GoPro 7 behind and it is gone forever. It was my favorite and used it for everything, so it is a shocker that it doesn't readily turn up when looking for it. It doesn't, and there is that constant reminder in the back of my head that I just might have left it behind. No doubt, long after this world self-destructs, some Ape will pick it off a rock, probably right where I left it. So I had to find a new camera and newer models were already being produced, but a newer GoPro meant I would need to stock up on the newer style batteries and a new set of filters since everything for the Hero 7 was now outdated. It also meant if I wanted to replace my Hero 7, that it was now only available in a bundle of items, most of which I already had five times over, and at a price over $600. Nonsense! So I waited and finally saw an ad for a new Hero 7 at the same price when it was new. No unwanted extras included, and I bought it and am now once again using my Hero 7 just like before with complete success. I don't know why some people say the Hero 7 doesn't work for them. Mine have always worked perfectly and are very reliable, and even records a better video. New buyers should probably go for the latest model because every new model receives some sort of improvement. Just don't leave it behind someplace. If you are real lucky, then you might even find one that somebody accidently forgot about and left behind.

Hello, I barely received my GoPro 7 and I do like the look and feel of this product! The only issue I have is the description of this item is completely false in stating that its a 4k model, to which I found out that this is only 1080p (which I'm ok with) and also one more note.... There is no way to access the battery... so no use in ordering spar batteries... this particular GoPro is charge by the wire only. I tested the video quality and it is superb! I also checked the anti shock of the video control and noticed it worked pretty good. I'll definitely update after riding with it on my helmet on my motorcycle. Other than the false description and lack of battery options, I'm satisfied with my purchase!

I bought this Gopro the week before going on a white water rafting trip. It did not disappoint! I attached it to my sons helmet and he captured amazing videos and photos. The camera is lightweight and easy to use. This particular camera comes in a plain box with no paperwork. But no worries, everything you need to operate the camera is online and on the gopro website. You will also need to purchase an SD card. The battery lasted about 3 hours, so if you are using it for a long adventure, you may want to invest in an extra battery. This gopro is also voice activated. You just say, "gopro, take a video" or "gopro take a photo". It worked every time and is a great way to start the video if you have your hands full! I recommend this gopro for your next adventure.

Do not buy from here! Waiting on my second replacement. Overheats preventing it from recording in 4k. Horrible connection with app. Buy new from gopro for better luck. Experience from this purchase has completely turned me away from gopro. Update: Gopro sent me a second replacenent. To no suprise the unit has the same issues. Overheating when attempting to record ant more than 2 minutes in 4k. Wont let you record in 4k Unit randomly turns off and on making it nearly impossible to actually capture what u intend without having to stitxh videos together with gaps for when the unit turned itself off Unit does not connect to the app. It may actually work one out of 5 times connecting to the app... Overall this product is garbage. And now because my 30 days is up i can no longer get a refund. I called bs on them because I DIDN'T HAVE A FUNCTIONING GO PRO FOR A SINGLE ONE OF THOSE 30 DAYS! I bought this product thinking the brands name would hold up for the product... DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID! U WILL SPEND MORE TIME FRUSTRATED WITH THIS PRODUCT. SO MUCH SO THAT THE FUN YOU ARE TRYING TO RECORD ISNT FUN ANYMORE DO NOT BUY DO NOT BUY COMPANY WILL NOT REFUND COMPANY WILL NOT REFUND COMPANY BANKING OFF POPULARITY PF NAME AND PUTTING OUT TRASH PRODUCT! Good product, meets all expectations.

What does that mean? It means that the GoPro hero 7 comes in 3 versions, and the colour isnt all that differentiates them! and by not new I mean, this is possibly a refurbished, or repackaged product. More on that later. At a glance they may seem similar, 4k video, image stabilisation. But the fine print is where things get ugly. The Silver can only do that 4K at 30fps, not 60 like the black. Smooth gimbal like stabilisation, only on the Black. The Silver just does more standard 2 axis. So be really sure you are getting what you want here. The GoPro hero 7 is often the camera of choice for its reliability and features for the price, but most of the time its the BLACK that people are talking about. and why do I say it might not be new. because when I unboxed mine there were clear signs of it being handled. Marks on the case, oily fingerprints inside the packaging and a complete lack of any packaging like bags etc. My guess is that it is factory refurbished at best. Lastly... this order was a SAGA! originally ordered in April, shipping didnt happen for weeks then it mysteriously went missing from the package before delivery. Lots of phone calls and chats later I had to pay $200 MORE to get another one shipped as the price had changed. Then that took over 2 weeks to get shipped and arrive.
