Pleased that it does what I had hoped. Bought a laptop with a 32GB solid state hard drive that is mostly consumed with the operating system and Microsoft apps, so it needs a separate storage area for apps, pics, videos, docs, etc.. I bought this SD card to provide that separate larger storage area. It clicks in the SD card slot in the side of the laptop that most computers have and shows up as a separate 'drive' "d:/". Windows 10 Settings lets you set which 'drive' any downloads, pictures, documents go and so I set it to this SD card and it works just like a normal computer hard drive would and without any issue or over-filing the small hard drive this laptop has.

My camera started telling me a couple of months ago that this card needed to be initialized in order to use it properly. I was able to download everything from it to a backup HDD, but when I needed the camera again today (April 13, 2018) to take some photos, I was again told that the camera needed to be initialized. I tried the card in a different camera and got a similar message, so I then tried reading it into my desktop computer, only to be told it needs to be formatted before it can be read.In other words, this card had completely failed, and it was less than two years since I bought it. I would advise purchasing somebody else's product, if you want a reliable, large flash memory card to store photos from a camera or whatever, especially if you plan on keeping copies on that card for any length of time. And always, always make backups!

When evaluating a memory card, you need to consider both capacity and speed. I believe speed is the more important criterion. This card offers both. It also has been reliable to date.First, at less than 50 cents per gigabyte, this 64gb SDXC memory card is an amazing value - maybe one of the best.Second, when copying files to this card from my computer's 5400 RPM hard drive via its USB 2.0 port, I enjoyed write speeds, depending on file size, of between 18 to 28 MB/Second (Megabytes per second). This is as fast as I have ever witnessed on my more than four year old desk top PC, a Gateway with 4GB RAM.I don't give many products five stars. I bought this 64gb SDXC because my new camera the Sony NEX-5TL is fast and offers 16.1mp in .jpeg and RAW, so I need the space. This little card does the trick.March 26, 2014 UPDATE: My card just quit on me. I always makw it a habit of downloading all of my pics immediately upon returning home with my camera. So I looked back at how many photos I had taken while using this SD/XC 64gb card in my Sony NEX-5 The total pictures taken before the card short circuited or whatever it did to not function any longer was 182+ the 14 or so I had taken the same day it quit working but lost because they are still on the card. I tried to retrieve the photos on my laptop and my mega PC, but to no avail, they are gone forever. OK, so I only paid $31 for a card when others were charging three times that amount, but if you spend $30 and the card only last three months, then that is $270 per year, which is a lot.Did I contact the company? Yes, but their warranty runs as long as Amazon's return time frame. Once that time runs out, you are SOL. So when you buy something that is 3 times less expensive that the rest, there is a reason why. With short life span as probably being the result.

This SDXC card was purchased for use in a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS30 camera (great camera!!). This card meets maximum allowable capacity for this camera and was selected for its speed.The speed in which photos and videos are recorded to this card is very fast. Image quality is superb. Transfer rate to a PC is very rapid. With 64 Gb capacity, it seems almost impossible to even come close to filling the card's capacity. Images are downloaded as soon as the PC can be accessed in order to keep photos organized and keep card's maximum capacity always available (in event video is necessary - takes a large amount of memory for videos). The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS30 is capable of 18.1 Megapixel photos and this card allows for almost 9,000 photos at this resolution.This was an extremely good purchase. KomputerBay offers a lifetime limited warranty with this product. I will purchase from KomputerBay again and highly recommend them as an Amazon.com retailer. I purchased this card for my canon 6d (20meg fullframe sensor)..The results have been fantastic. After testing it definately can handle the demands of the camera's processor with lightening speed. It meets the spec guidlelines based on manufactures test results @ Consecutive Frames per per burst in RAW mode. I purchased this card based on the performance of KOMPUTERBAY's 32gb compact flash card I purchased for my canon 50d... I have not officially tested the read speed for downloading on my PC, however several times faster than my name brand SanDisc 200x card for about half the price as I write this review. So far I have taken over 1000 photos with no errors on the card. With my 32 gig card have taken about 5000k shots with no errors.

Great product. Got it to use with my laptop, to replace a 16GB Class 10 card I have. This one is definitely much faster, though I have not run any formal performance tests. Does not work in my digital camera, but that was not the purpose I got it for. Have been using it for about a month and have had no issues. Have been storing and accessing documents, music and videos and the performance is more than sufficient to keep-up with my demands. I would recommend this product to others. I guess at some point I would be looking for the 128GB card!Has been working well having been encrypted with VCeraCrypt.

I received this card on August 21 2014, as per the delivery estimate, I immediately conducted a series of practical experiments, involving the use of this card in two different cameras, storing video clips & stills in both instances. I also checked the card's functionality via the internal card readers of two computers, both running Windows 7. Cut, copy, paste, delete, and format, all functioned perfectly on both computers. I obtained a card capacity reading that slightly exceeded 64 billion bytes, which I consider to be entirely satisfactory. I am not able to accurately measure the read/write speed of this device, but it certainly appeared to operate at a more than satisfactory rate. In terms of my particular requirements, I am entirely satisfied with this SDXC flash card.

Product OK. Why print 64gig capacity when on the properties display it shows max 59gig?Have not tested card in movie camera yet, only as stills pictures recording.
