Seeds of Change Organic Quinoa & Brown Rice, 8.5 Ounce (Pack of 4)

I buy Quinoa all the time and always hesitate to make it because it takes a while to cook and is a bit bland if I don't add anything to it. I also find that it does not last to long after you cook it. I thought I would try these Seeds of Change Microwavable Quinoa and brown rice with garlic added because it seemed like these would be easier to prepare, quicker to prepare and taste better because of the flavors and rice added. I made 2 pouches of this last night for my family and it went over well. It is tasty, it is quick to prepare and everyone ate it up. I did find I liked to cook it a bit longer than the package states, because when I did cook it for the full amount of time listed on the package it was still a bit chewy. This could be a personal preference though, this is just what I did.

I must say while shopping online for something rather healthy and quick considering the limitations I came across this product from Seeds of Change. I will admit that I was a bit hesitant at first but I'm so glad I ordered this product. OMG it's pretty tasty.. I heated it up at work as directed and poured half the bag in a bowl and much to my surprise it was actually tasty! I didn't need to add any salt or any other seasoning which is a plus. I will order these again but perhaps when I feel like spending quite a bit on rice... The only thing I would say about this product is that it's quite pricey but delicious nonetheless. The rice turned out almost perfect and I'm very happy it wasn't hard.. The garlic adds a nice little flavor (It's rare you go wrong ordering anything with garlic). :) Good product.. One more thing, I wish this company would ship to APO addresses. That would be awesome. So many of my co-workers want to order this but since they don't ship here they all passed it up. Hope this helps, it definitely worth giving a try.

I bought this originally on a whim from a Natural Grocer's store located ninety miles from where I live. I like both quinoa and brown rice, but I always seem too busy to cook stuff. I also am allergic to dairy and wheat/gluten, so I am regularly on the prowl for 'instant' food that isn't just pure junk and that might be actually convenient AND good for me. Image my surprise to discover how wonderful this tasted - like it was cooked from scratch. Quite simple to warm up in the microwave. Very flavorful garlic and 'buttery' taste without either being overwhelming - and without butter! I was delighted to discover I could order this product from Amazon and not have to drive a long distance to enjoy this product again!

It is a very good texture and blend of ingredients. I enjoyed it with green beans but I think black or kidney with a little tomato sauce will be much better. It was dry.

I enjoy the seeds of change brand. However this flavor is a little overpowering with the garlic flavor. Not my favorite. But all the other flavors i have tried are wonderful.

I love this rice; it's easy to store, and super easy and quick to prepare. It's a great tasting product...and healthy! Be aware that Uncle Ben's offers a similar product in the grocery stores at a much cheaper price. I think this product is somewhat better, but you may want to do a little comparison shopping to see if the price difference is worth it to you.

A co-worker of mine brought this to work for lunch and let some of us try it. I must say I was a little hesitant about Quinoa, only because I had it before and the person didn't make it good at all. But this product was absolutely flavorful, delicious and takes 90 seconds in the microwave. It filled me up with just 3/4 of the serving. The downside is 1 cup serving is like 240 calories, but is so high in whole grain and nutrition, you can't pass up. The rice is not hard at all and seasoned with just the right amount of garlic.
