Good product. Has more benefits than drawbacks but some of the drawbacks are big.
I got the grey case for the iPhone 5. Ear buds are decent quality, maybe a 7/10 for just the quality of the earbuds. There's supposedly a button on them where you can pause, play, skip music etc. but the one on mine doesn't seem to work but I trust when it does work, it will do its purpose no problem.Pros:1. This case gives you the ability to carry around a decent pair of ear buds without the worry of forgetting them or tangling them.2. Earbuds have decent bass and good volume.3. Case feels pretty sturdy. Feels like it's made of above middle quality plastics.4. Still gives you access to all of the iPhone's buttons and charging port and it doesn't obstruct your front or back cameras.5. The case redirects your speakers so that they face you and you won't have to cup your hand over the edge of the phone anymore when you're not using the earbuds i.e. watching a video.6. It's pretty easy going from using the earbuds to going back the the phone's speakers. Just flip the case's aux port switch and retract the earbuds with the case's automatic retract button and you're good to go.Cons:1. The case is a little bulky.2. The retraction mechanism feels a little delicate.3. When the case is on your phone, you no longer have access to the phone's aux input so you would have to take the case completely off if you want to use the port for something else other than its earbuds.4. The case's charging port is a tad small. I have to use my backup charger now whenever this case is on my phone.5. Sometimes the earbuds require a little coaxing to get them all the way back into the case. All in all, a sub-decent product. You get some pretty good reactions from people when you show them. Pretty handy.

I would rate it 2.5.
The idea behind the product is brilliant. However, when I placed my iPhone 5 on, it's too snug and wouldn't slide in easily I asked myself, "Maybe it's the tempered glass" but the edges of the case don't even go that far. The case did not "snap" on just like the case said it would, in fact, it left some space where I can the iPhone part itself, and yes- I applied more pressure and even asked another person to help me, but alas- it still did not. The button on the near earpiece does not work either. I only purchased this case since the idea of not having to lose earphones and protection for my phone was a game changer. Its pure purpose is still there as the earphone's sound quality isn't bad, it's quite astonishing actually. It does protect my iphone to a degree and well, it does what is says it does. Big problem with it is the button near the earpiece and it not snapping on completely. Nevertheless, this product is still brilliant. I just wish it the button worked and it fit the phone better. Cheers.

WEAK SOUND EVEN WEAKER MIC
Problems:-Earbuds did not fit well-Earbuds hurt my ears-The speakers were very weak.-The mic is the worst I've ever used-The cord gets tangled-The cord does not retract well-I could not get the earbuds to fit correctly! I tried all the different size pads (extra earbud tips are included) and even removed the pads completely and the fit was never right.-Even after I got them to stay in my ear I would have to remove them every 5 mins because of the pain they created.- Awful sound quality!! If ambient noise was present it was almost impossible to hear anything even with the volume on MAX level. I could not use it while driving, walking outside, sitting in a Starbucks Or any other place with background noise.- The Mic was AWFUL too!! No one could ever hear me. It only worked well if I held the mic directly next to my mouth defeating the purpose of a hands-free headset.I am on my phone all day for work and always have my earbuds in. I love the idea but hate the execution. I am going to wait until 2nd or 3rd gen products come out before I give it another shot.

Stopped Working. BAD Customer Service
I actually regret buying these. Here's why:Customer service:Our earbuds stopped working within a month of receiving them. We bought them early September, by October 2nd they were not working. We filed a claim, followed the instructions given to us, and did not hear back from customer service for over a week. I finally emailed them today and asked them when we could expect a response. They replied with"Your request (XXXXX) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff."That's it. Not only did they fail to answer my question and treat a customer with respect, they failed to treat me as a human being. A Business Communications class at a local community college might go a long way here guys.Design flaws:If earbuds are active and you hold the phone up to your hear to take a call, you will not hear anything unless you switch a button. This wouldn't be a problem except this button is HARD to flip. My wife can barely do it and when you're having to do this several times a day, it becomes a real problem.

Bad News
Thought this would be really handy but when we put it on my husband's iPhone 5s could not get it to work correctly. Even with the headset turned off, he could only talk on his phone if it was on speakerphone? Then when we took the case off and I would call him from my phone, he could hear me, but I could never hear him. Also, when we took the case back off we had to mess with his phone because either he couldn't hear me or I couldn't hear him. Finally, after working with the phone for 10 mins. Or so it started working. Luckily it is working okay. Threw away the case.

Four Stars
Everything stays together, a little bulky but absolutely serves its purpose & doesn't damage the wires.

Very Cool Concept, but...
The push lever to plug/unplug the headphones to the phone is hard to slide without breaking a nail. It takes a lot of force to slide the lever up and down making it not even worth using.

Lacking in quality
The left earbud stopped working recently. Also, the case seems to be losing some retractability. Overall, it's a great idea, it just seems like the execution is of poor quality.
