Size 6 Circular Knitting Needles 16 Inch Set Round Metal Kit

These work perfectly for a hat--nothing catches and I enjoy working with metal needles. They feel like they'll last a long time.

These needles are well constructed and knit beautifully.

I am a new knitter and I have a nice set of interchangeables from another brand, but I needed some 16" needles and my interchangeable tips are a bit too long for the short cable. After doing some research, I came across this listing (and another listing from the same seller with a second set of the opposite sizes) and decided to grab both sets to make a complete set with no missing sizes. Overall for the price, I am very happy with the needles!The pros: The tips are very smooth, no dents or rough spots, nice weight, I love the curve before the join, the join is very sturdy and smooth, and the cables are flexible but sturdy with no memory. I sized the needles and they all matches up with their marked size. I was impressed with the size range, some much pricier brand-name sets I found in 16" only went up to a size 11, so I appreciate the wider range, especially for the price!The cons: Tip to tip they actually measure 17.5"-18.5" and not 16". The cords themselves measure 9.5", and depending on needle size, the tips measure from 4" (smallest size) to 4.5" (largest size). So far I haven't had a major problem with the extra length, but I can see it being an annoyance for people planning to use them for small projects where the extra 2" could make a big difference. My other con is the tips are fairly blunt, especially the larger sizes, which will be the ones I mainly use as I like to work with chunkier knits. They are workable, but when you're used to nice sharp tips, it feels a bit cumbersome! Another con not so much related to this specific set, but the other set I purchased (same seller, different listing) actually showed up as 40" instead of 16" as it was listed. I have re-ordered and will return the longer set, so I will hold off on reviewing until I receive the correct set, but I am thinking it will be much of the same feedback. I'm not sure why they don't just have an option for a complete set!Overall I would definitely recommend them- if you're a new knitter who wants a range of sizes but doesn't want to invest a ton right away, if you don't knit a lot of very small projects like baby items where the extra 2" would be very noticeable, or if you're just looking for a decent set of budget needles!

The needles are fine; just not the correct size. I ordered a size 6 and was sent a size 5. There is a tool for sizing needles. Perhaps this seller needs one.

I love the cord verses the the plastic cord easier to use.

I'm a knitter for many years and have many circular needles; the three piece to wind together to desired size. Never check what else was on the market concerning this hobby. I discovered these circular needles after I was knitting an afghan with (circular) needles. Many times the stitches came off causing a lot of effort to get back to work. The one piece circular needles are the best choice.

I previously gave these a one star rating as they took six weeks to arrive and I didn't know what to expect, and now that they're here I wanted to correct it. They arrived today and are absolutely perfect. They feel good in my hands and the cords are supple and smooth - no problems at the joins. I would honestly order them again even knowing how long it takes to get them here.

Actual needle much shorter than expected and difficult to work with. The ends are quite blunt, not as pointy as other ones I have. I failed to notice the set did not contain Size 13 which is quite popular but that was on me.

Advertising does not match the product. The cable is 10 inches long, with 4 inch needles. Total with cable and needles are 18 1/2 inches, not 16 as advertised. Disappointed because I need 16 inches as they said it was.

Just what I needed to knit hats for the kids(both young and old)!
