Because it's a hard case, it's not easy to hold. I'm sure if you placed it on a flat surface it would work fine, but I don't. Therefore the low rating. And just for the record, the only thing I use my tablet for is to play a billiards game almost every evening, and I do it in a reclining position. That's why for me, it's not easy to hold.

I needed a replacement case because my previous case had 150 million miles on it 🤣.and it just literally fell apart.Because this phone is one of my older phones, I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a case, so I'm actually happier than what I thought I would be because it fit the bill perfectly and the case is everything that it was advertised to be; a good solid hard case with a kickstand, firmly made, that fits the phone snuggly — no Frills, but good construction and more than worth the money that I paid.

I like that this phone case is value for money as it is indeed protective. Have it for over a year now and It is still sturdy , Idon’t regret the purchase

I wanted to try a case that was lighter and more sleek than my worn down otter box case. After opening up the package I could tell I might have issues with it. So the case definitely met my expectations with regards to being light and sleek, but it definitely suffers in other areas. Although this case has a practical stand in the back, it comes at the cost of adding an awkward and unstable contour when placed flat down. Basically, it wobbles and wants to spin on the raised part. Moreover, the case itself lacks any cushion as it's pretty much thin plastic. Therefore I'm convinced this case is definitely not rated for falls. It also doesn't help that there isn't any rubber texture on the bottom to help you stand it up against something without sliding back and falling. Very slippery to hold. The only benefit of this texture is that is slides out of your pocket nice, but is it worth accidentally dropping it? I feel like you could easily modify this case in order to have it meet your preferences. However, because I still had my otter box I simply went back to it as I realized how much the rubbery texture is better to hold and how it minimizes the phone sliding further after a drop.

I had one version of this for over a year and really loved the part which it stood up on. After I finally broke it dropping it for the 700th time I figured I'd just buy another. This second version is garbage. The back metal stand is so weak it just fall under the weight of the phone. The metal seems super cheap now and thin. The new phone case didn't even last 24 hours before the back just broke. I wouldn't purchase this based on the new quality it has become as most of the glowing reviews are from the previous make of these.

This case delivers what it promises and at under $10 it's a steal. Fit an finish is excellent. I hesitated buying one at first with the few negative reviews of the ring coming off or the paint finish (yes for silver and colors it is an applied color not silver plastic molded one piece but for the price you can always buy another after a year of 6 months. Now for the few consThe screen does not have much clearance from the edges but the corners are higher so that does provide protection face down. The buttons are a bit recessed, while this may mean less accidental presses it does mean having to push a bit harder to activate. (NO wireless charging as the metal ring and magnetic base block this feature. The ring so far is solid and does not seem to be coming loose. The case is very easy to remove if you wish to charge it wirelessly but not so easy as it would fall out or work it's way out. For the price compared to cases costing 3 times the price this case is a no brainier steal

While this case does make it easier to hold onto the phone it also makes it extremely easy to push the buttons on the sides of the phone when picking it up. After 1 week of use the "kickstand" on the back broke off in my hand while deploying it. The offset caused by the kickstand can also cause problems is you have a Samsung cradle type wireless charger. The case is easy to remove so the cradle charger can be used but that brings you back to trying to hold onto the skinny little phone while drowsy if you get a call in the middle of the night.

Well made case. Finger ring holder is super sturdy versus the ordinary stick on kind. It's built right into the case. Only negative feedback is that it's quite difficult to get the finger holder open for use.
