Don’t Let Negative Reviews Deter You!
I cannot imagine how anyone could give this rug a negative review! I think it’s lovely and I haven’t been more pleased with a purchase in a long, long time. It is not advertised as a fine rug, it is a rug that is for utility. I’ve wanted one for a bathroom carpet just like this, and this rug is perfect for that purpose. It doesn’t slip around. It’s thin, but absorbent. It dries quickly. But most importantly, it looks wonderful in my bathroom. It made ordinary look extraordinary. The shiny surface that some reviewer‘s describe, was intentional, I’m sure. It looks like the silken vintage oriental carpet. The colors are not brassy at all! They are rather muted and blend nicely. I immediately bought another rug as soon as I received this one to save for a back up. I was afraid I couldn’t find one of this quality if I waited until later. I am about to buy a third one to use for the rug in my kitchen. I haven’t washed them yet, but other reviews said they wash very nicely. I know they don’t show dirt easily. Truly, this is one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. I’m very grateful for the quality and esthetic appeal of this rug.

Great for the price
The colors and the pattern of this rug is beautiful. It’s softer then What I expected, the only thing I’m not too keen on is it’s shiny. I imagine that has something to do with materials used, but I’m hoping some wear in tear will help with that.

Perfect for the kitchen
We put this in the kitchen and it works great. It is light weight with a rubber backing. It still slides a bit on the floor but not enough to go flying of you hit it or your pet hits it at a run. It looks great and has a bit of a shiny appearance. It came folded up so give it time to get the shipping folds to relax. It does and the price was great too.

It gets shipped folded up
This is a super pretty rug, and very inexpensive. One thing you should know however is that it gets shipped folded up, not rolled. It’s synthetic, so you can’t steam the creases out - it’ll melt the fibers. I honestly don’t know how I’m going to make that happen. It’s winter here and I don’t have a place inside big enough where I could leave it in the sun. Unless you have a good way to be able to flatten out the creases that will be in it when it arrives, you might consider a rug that will ship rolled up.

Not a tufted rug. More like a shiney, silky mat
These are disappointing. Not really a "rug". They came very tightly folded in plastic bags and wrinkled to the point of being damaged. Three days later they are still VERY wrinkled and it seems the top material is not attached to the under side where the folds are. They are really like a shiney cloth somewhat attached to a foamy backing with little rubber dots which does not resemble a rug. They are mats. Colors are very vibrant and pretty but same as some have said...the smaller 2x3 looks off color from the 3x5...they are very weird and sorry I bought them.

TL;DR Beautiful floor mat!
I'm kinda a carpet snob, grew up in a house with antique hand loomed Chinese rugs, own several gorgeous hand woven Persian carpets, even have several Turkmen hand felted carpets.... But I needed a pretty but inexpensive carpet for the entryway, something that if it only lasted 6 months I wouldn't cry about it. This little 3x5 poly floor mat is not only inexpensive, it's gorgeous! The pattern is very traditional and the colors mimic the vegetal dyes used in handwoven carpets, right down to the subtle "abrash" lines where (in handwoven carpets) the yarn color shades and density changes. The pile is very low, so it's a good carpet for under an door and should be easy to clean.Update! I had a smaller version of this rug in my bathroom in front of the sink, it was gorgeous with the dark blue and rust wall tiles and I loved, loved, loved it! Apparently, my cat did *not* love it and proceeded to christen it with inappropriate bodily fluids.... I took the rug outside, sprayed it with the hose then scrubbed it lightly with some dish soap and it's looks (and smells) fabulous again! However, I'm not putting it back where Miss Peesalot can get to it.... Maybe I'll use it under my computer chair....

Pretty
The one thing I was looking for was a rug this size but with actual fibers making up the rug. I guess I’m not up to the new trend in manufacturing rugs. This is not a fiber rug. It’s flat and pattern seems like it is stamped on the soft no pile velvet silky feeling rug. It’s a very pretty rug.. just not what I’m used to. It’s super easy to clean. Hides everything due to the pattern. So far has held up great. I have it for a month or so and vacuum it regularly due to pets. Overall, for the price - you can’t beat it.
