Handy near the kitchen sink.
These sit conveniently on the kitchen counter for sprouting purposes. This was my first attempt at sprouting and it worked very well.

Easy to use, fun to watch grow, simple cleanup, and the sprouts are fabulous!
This looked like so much fun that I had to buy it. So glad I did! Easy peasy to use! Tablespoon of seeds, fill with cool water, let a day go by, drain. Then rinse and drain 2 or 3 times a day until the jar is chock full of yummy crunchy tasty little sprouts. If you miss a rinse, no big deal. It's such a forgiving project, and edible too! The ceramic tray beneath is top quality, and I can fit this unit pretty much anywhere. The sprouts I used were ready in 3 days. Talk about a fast turnover! Wow! And the variations of seeds to sprout are endless! We sprinkle them on top of our tacos instead of lettuce. Great with our nachos, or on a salad, or plain with lots of yummy flavored olive oil dribbled over the top! If I have too many, the chickens get a treat! Really a nice addition to our meals. I would highly recommend giving these a go as the fresh crunch of your own homemade sprouts is a hundred times tastier than the nasty goopy sprouts you buy in the store. Plus you can get organic seeds, make your own mixed versions, and control how many you make. Lots to like about this unit. Buy it!

Love these!
These are perfect for growing stuff for my chickens. I would set it up and within a week they would have their treats. Of course the jars have no control over what I grown and how well it does, it helped that they were super easy to use and small enough to sit on my kitchen window sill

I like how someone created a rack to tilt the bottle
Been making sprouts for decades. I like this bottle rack and tray combo. Solved many issues. Years ago someone made a screen lid to attach to a canning bottle. The bottle had to drain -- mostly by holding it until it made it to drip stage. You laid it down on the side. Good to spread out the wet seeds. Water pooled and seeds might spoil. This looks like it could reduce that time. An old trick for very small seeds was to cover the inside of lid with a trimmed down coffee filter

I so wanted to love this and give them for Christmas gifts!!!!
I was so excited to find this item and bought it right away to give it a try as I knew several people who would love it for Christmas, plus what a great idea for that “bring a small gift “ exchange party.HOWEVER, I used one jar for my first use, it went okay, the lid was fiddley but manageable, not a deal breaker. Then, close to thanksgiving I wanted 2 types of sprouts for post holiday sandwiches. The second lid doesn’t secure on properly at all and after swapping them around now I can’t get a good fit on either. My sister who had seen it and ordered for a friend will check hers immediately upon arrival and return it if the lids give any hint of being faulty. If it’s functional it’s fantastic for the money, although I feel they should send two screw caps for each jar(and perhaps two screens) for the money. I want to love and keep it but so far I cannot figure out how to just get new lids, I am certainly not paying more. It’s such a conundrum. Be aware before you buy, while this might just be a fluke, I find it quite odd both lids fit so poorly. I will see once the set my sister ordered arrives. Disappointed is an understatement.

Perfect
I’ve really enjoyed using these jars to make sprouts. I had debated on getting just a sprouting jar, but the drip tray this comes with is a must. I usually add lentils to one jar and a variety of other seeds to the other. Our salads and dishes are more healthy with these additions.
