I plugged it into a TP-Link Omada PoE-powered switch I haven't used in a year or so and it powered up and was immediately detected by the Omada controller; I was even able to update the firmware. You need to make sure the switch on the back is set to "I" for In-line testing. This is a big improvement over my PoE Texas detector, which only has a few LEDs to tell you that PoE is present. I plugged it into a TP-Link Omada PoE-powered switch I haven't used in a year or so and it powered up and was immediately detected by the Omada controller; I was even able to update the firmware.
