What amp is required for the 1600 watt power supply? Also, are there any issues plugging two power supplies into a splitter power cord, what amp?

At a 110v outlet you are at approximately 15 amps at full capacity. Depending on what you are doing the load should not exceed 80-85%. I would not recommend plugging them into a splitter power cord as most of them are at 15 amps, even if you had 20 amps I would stay away. If you're running 2 at over 2/3ds capacity find different walk sockets and different circuits, otherwise expect a fire. Good luck
