I was hesitant with my purchase, I didn't want my sleek black glass desk to look cheap, it's donned with expensive Apple products. Nonetheless, I bit the bullet & made the purchase; I'm very happy with it. It relieves the stress on my wrist, is usable with both left & right hands, and blends in nicely with my black Apple Magic trackpad. I use average pressure, I assume, and there hasn't been any indents. It's a sleek and stylish item...if you're like I was, fearful of your desk looking 'cheap' when you've made a large investment in Apple products, fear not. Your wrist will thank you.
Review: Defective Seams - Boosting what others have said about the seams breaking and gel leaking out. I have now had three of these (the last one was sent in place of a different designed unit I ordered -- so I gave it one more try). All three failed, and in two different desk setups (one standing, one sitting). The seams are just too weak to withstand the ear and tear of a wrist moving around on top of it, which is what it's designed for. BTW, this happens after only a couple of weeks.
