Decent spearmint tea
I usually drink peppermint tea so maybe I'm not the most qualified to judge spearmint tea, however I did find this brand to be quite enjoyable and was the best value for money on Amazon. That is, this was supposed to be one of the better value for money options if I actually got a 250g bag instead of 125g. Twice, I ordered the 250g bag and twice I received 125g instead (I had hoped the first mistake was a one off but apparently not). Thankfully I got refunds but I'd rather have the option to buy 250g with confidence because I honestly like this tea enough that I would repurchase.Using a very fine tea infuser, there is still a little bit of mint dust at the bottom of my cup but it's not noticeable when you gulp it down along with the brew.

Evocative flavour. 250g size
I hadn't had a good cup of spearmint tea since coming back from Turkey and the Levant so was looking forward to this arriving. As soon as I opened the inner packet I was taken right back to sitting in the souk with a teapot and little glasses drinking hot sweet nana mint tea in the sunshine. Some reviews I read said that it wasn't strong enough or took too long to steep, but I found if I used very hot water in a çaydanlık (double stacked pot) it was very good.So I dug out my çaydanlık and ince belli (little tulip shaped tea glasses) and brewed some up. I've also been using one of the little borosilicate glass teapots with the steel infuser inside and its been working fine.Brilliant flavour, very fresh tasting and there are no additives to worry about. Seemingly from Bulgaria and air dried out of sunlight so as not to impair the flavour. Count on 1-2 teaspoons per person, and can be drunk with nothing in it or a little sugar or honey.Very relaxing tea, mint is often used for this and as an aid to digestion. So if you've had a heavy or spicy meal this should calm the stomach down as well as freshening the breath. There is another side affect of drinking mint tea which could be bad or good depending on your viewpoint. It can be a fairly strong diuretic. I have heart problems and occasionally have to take diuretics to rid myself of excess fluid, Since starting a small pot of Nana mint tea I've not had too, sorry for being indelicate. So for me this isn't a bad thing, but you may not want to drink it too late in the evening as you may have to get up for the loo.You don't have to just drink it as tea, you can add it to dishes or even make a mint sauce from it.I've drunk a fair bit of some of the UK brands of mint tea over the years and none compare in flavour, they all taste a bit old and dull. This tea is very different, very clean and fresh tasting, Once this big bag finally runs out I'll be buying more from them.

Too fine
Ive trive 5 different fine mesh tea strainers and bits of the spearmint always get in...not just a little either.

A little taste of Bulgaria
My favouite restaurant is a Moroccan Restaurant in St Albans where they serve a truly delicious mint tea. I have tried to make my own from home grown mint but I have never been successful in replicating that particular flavour.Nana Mint is the closest yet to achieving that same delicious flavour at home. In fact I would not be surprised if this is the one the restaurant uses (they would not tell me their secret recipe). They serve it as whole leaves in the tea pot and this product is supplied as coursely cut leaves. Still suitable to brew and pour from my good old bone china Teapot. I am going to try and buy a new mint plant to add some whole leaves to each cup to replicate the restaurants presentation.I have included a picture of a well known brand to show the scale of the bag. The contents weigh exactly the same but are greater in volume, i.e 250g. The packaging is resealable as stated on the product page and seals perfectly so no need to find an alternative storage jar. The bag is firm enough and stable enough to stand up in the cupboard too.I am a heavy tea drinker, it is the one thing that the panic buying at the onset of the current crisis deprived me of much to my horror, ( now I keep 3 weeks supply in the cupboard at all times), so I am not sure how long the bag will last me. It is nice to have a refreshing alternative to drink. My Doctor tells me to cut down on the caffeine so now I can.I am supremely happy to find a product that is 99% identical in flavour!, so personally its worth the asking price.

Gorgeous mint tea, highly recommend
Well there is nothing that I don’t like. All good in actual fact. The leaves are tiny and I actually like this because the taste of mint is very prominent. I first started drinking mint tea when I had a stomach upset in Egypt, and all the 15 times I have visited, mint tea I drunk a lot. So as there are two of us, I personally put four teaspoons of mint leaves in a large mug. Added one sugar even though I do not use sugar usually, and my husband has saccharin. Poured boiling water over the leaves ,gave it a stir, put a plate on top and left for ten minutes. After I got two glass mugs usual size, used a little collider to stain the mint tea over into the glass mugs from the initial mug. Worked a treat. When I went in for the taste, I felt ten minutes was a bit long, basically my husband drank his back quickly, I felt it was still warm enough to sip it. Also putting one sugar in with the leafs and water, it was too sweet, half a sugar in the large mug would have been enough. That is normal sugar organic I used not sweetener. So when I make another, I will leave it to ferment about five minutes. The taste is lovely and light, smells delicious. I didn’t want packaging all over, so used two old coffee glass bottles I kept with a great top to put the rest in, and labelled and dated. I do believe the health benefits and certainly if I have a dicky tummy, it helps cleanse the system. Thank you , I do recommend this product and definitely would buy .
