We fiddled with them for a little bit making small adjustments bending them. I was glad my 19 yr old son was there to help as his hands were stronger than mine. The flower box never did hang completely flat due to how we were able to fit them to our railing, but they are sturdy and did the job. We could probably find something to shim them to the railing and make it hang straighter.
