I've been eating one Corazonas bar on average of five out of seven days per week as a replacement for breakfast. I also go to a low impact aerobic class three days per week and have lost 10 pounds. I don't take any supplements like fish oil. I think that all of these things combined helped lower my cholesterol. I was shocked when my new doctor emailed me the results of my blood work. My cholesterol readings are all now in the normal range. I enjoy eating these bars for breakfast because they are tasty warmed in the microwave for 13 seconds and I can eat them running out the door. My favorite flavors are banana walnut, cranberry flax, and peanut butter. My husband doesn't have high cholesterol but he enjoys the chocolate chip one mainly because he is a chocoholic. The merits of plant sterols was featured on the Dr. Oz Show recently and in one segment they showed foods that contain high amounts of plant sterols. They showed a snack bar that looked exactly like the Corazona bar. I will continue to buy these bars. I first ordered the blueberry because the price was lower than the others. Then I ordered a box of cranberry. They are delicious and great for an easy breakfast with my coffee.Now I see there are only a couple flavors available and it says they don’t know when or if they will get more. Please, please don’t discontinue these bars. These are great for breakfast or a quick pick me up. Unlike other snack bars, these aren't too sweet. Note: These bars are dense & may not be for everyone.
