The business card case is slim and perfect for normal use. The almond-blossom image is nicely laquered, but... When I viewed the image on amazon, I thought the descriptive line of text over the case was just that -- a description added by the vendor. It's not. It's actually PRINTED ON the card case. Which means it's not an elegant little card case. It's now a tacky print, as if you don't have enough gray matter upstairs to figure out what image is on your own card case. Printed text is across the entire center/lower right of case: "Vincent van Gogh - Blossoming Almond Tree, 1890." It completely disrupts the image and is not classy.Do note: This is a slim profile case. It holds about 10 to 18 cards, depending on the weight of the paper stock. This is perfect for daily use, but if you're going to a conference, you might want to keep some extra cards in your purse or portfolio to refill often. Offering a card from a slim case rather than a fat, bulk-card case often implies a more discerning contact, which can be important if you're working in an area of specialized technology or a high-end product. This case would be perfect for that -- except for that ugly print across the face.I have bought similar cases that had no text on the images. I am extremely disappointed. I would return it if I could, but this vendor does not appear to have a return option listed in my order area.

At this time I am not in the States and the case is in my sister's home. She opened the package and says it's beautiful and I believe her, as in the past I ordered another case with different artwork and was really pleased with the beauty and quality, that's why I wanted to have another one. I truly recommend it.

Very pretty. Not sure it's practical due to low volume. Also, its a little hard to open for not so nimble fingers and hands.

Very unique piece, might be a conversation starter at the awkward exchange of business cards (I work in Asia and the exchange of business cards is a big deal). Only downside is that it only holds about 20 or so cards so if you are at one of those big conferences where you will exchange a lot of cards you need a back-up holder. But for everyday use, it's fine.
