Aster novae-angliae 'Purple Dome' (New England Aster) Perennial, purple flowers, #2 - Size Container

I ordered two of the Purple Dome variety to plant in my front landscaping that was somewhat bare. The plants arrived promptly via UPS. I was surprised to see that not only were healthy considering the heat, but they are much larger than I anticipated. Both plants acclimated right away - I recommend using a little mycorrhizae especially when transplanting - and they are already growing at a nice, steady pace. This is a quality nursery, and I am completely satisfied with this gorgeous addition to my garden.

I'll start by saying I seldom write Amazon reviews. I needed this specific nativar of a New England aster for a specific reason. I bought a plant from another source but it didn't make it through shipment. I was hesitant to try again given the summer heat wave but I needed the plant. It shipped extremely quickly and arrive almost a week early. The packaging was exquisite and the plant was in perfect shape. Obviously a little wilted due to the summer heat but after placing it in cool water for an hour it completely perked back up. Plant is huge - like barely fitting in the pot huge. Every leaf looks healthy and green and if it wasn't in the middle of a summer heat wave I could have put it in the ground today. I'm going to keep it above ground in the shade for a couple days until the weather cools and we get some rain. I am totally in awe of the condition this plant arrived in.

I purchased two of these aster plants and not only were they beautiful, full, healthy and amazing; but the packaging is an awesome feat of engineering. They arrived in perfect condition, and we know they will be an excellent addition to our yard. Highly recommend!!

I’m utterly upset. & disappointed! I purchased these plants for someone who’s mother passed away! These plants look like they are near death themselves and look NOTHING like what’s pictured!!! TOTAL EMBARRASSMENT!!! STAY AWAY! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

I was surprised to find out that Amazon has real flowers and we couldn’t find Asters anywhere. The plant was good sized and was in perfect condition when it arrived!

I received 3 plants so far, they look full, but who ever delivered them, 2 of the plants was upside down in the box and taped up like they was open and 1 of the plants I got a toy in it, it would be ok if I had kids but I don't, the 2 that was upside down looks a little smashed, but I hope the will spring back into shape

The plant is gorgeous! I was afraid it wouldn't make it since it took a while to ship and it is over 90 degrees here but it made it! A little wilted but not crushed and nothing a little water couldn't fix. I just planted it so I hope it does well.
