Nature's SeedFEOV-10LB Sheep Fescue Grass, 10 lb
A**R
Growing just fine and low maintenance
I've been planting this sheep fescue grass in barren dirt areas of my yard for 10 years or so. Every couple of years I throw out a few pounds of the seed into the dirt areas. It does take some time and the right conditions, ie water, for it to germinate. Once established it does well...if you water the area it'll grow well and turn nice and green. If you don't water the established grass it will simply go dormant until it gets water...maybe 2 or 3 months here in Central Oregon. We get very little if any rain in the summer and it just goes dormant. It then comes back nicely after being covered with winter snow. It is a "Bunch" grass, so clumps up if not watered.
