This trigger lock will not stay on. The small finger rest under the trigger appears to be much thinner, so the trigger lock doesn't even get the slightest hint of a purchase to it and slides right off. **Q: It says it fits the dyson v8 but has but reviews or anything i just want to make sure before i purchase 4 of them for everyone in my family,** A: Yes. It fits for V8. please contact us if you have problem or question when you receiving or using , Thank you. **Q: Does this have to be removed each time or can it stay on when not in use?** A: Stays on! Just swivel the lever to turn on/off. I have a V6 and V7, fits better on V6 bc you push it in as firm/snug as it will fit. The V7 is a little trickier, cant push it all the way in, but works fine once in position. **Q: Does it work with the dyson v11 torque drive?** A: Skip.
