I have a few different motion-sensor LED bar lights like this that I have installed in a storage closet and the dark loft of my garage. I like how this style of light doesn't require an outlet to power the light (between charges).This lamp casts a warm yellowish light, rather than the cooler white or bluish light that other LEDs produce.The warm light is soft and diffused, without the harsh hot spots you see on other similar LED lamps. The diffusion probably reduces the intensity and "throw" of the light, so it doesn't penetrate as far as other, higher-intensity lamps with "harder" light. Intead, this one is nice for flood-lighting a fairly small area. It makes a nice nightlight for your bathroom (for example), or as a lamp for a closet, attic, or storage loft. If you want to use it as a reading light, you'll want to set it to stay on until you intentionally shut it off, otherwise the light will go out after a few minutes of inactivity.If the light quits coming on when it should, you'll need to recharge it with a micro-USB cord. The lamp comes with the cord you'll need but its a pretty standard format that is used by many android phones and other devices. You'll need to supply the block that goes between the cord and a wall outlet. I like to put at least 2 rechargeable lamps in each or the spaces that I use them in so that if one runs out of juice there will likely still be one working while I recharge the dead one.I have found this style of lamp quite useful for several places around my home. This is the third motion activated countertop/cabinet/closet light/light set thatweI have purchased and it's the largest and most configurable. Being able to change the light color is fantastic as it can be changed to fit the need. For example, the stark white is great for the pantry, but the softer white is better for the closet that generally gets accessed in the morning after waking up and is easier on the eyes. Installation just peel and stick in place. The hardest part is waiting for the occasional recharge. It's getting to the point that it would be nice if most lights in the house were motion sensing, but at least these battery operated ones are a convenient add-on.

These are a really great product. Only downside is that one of the three lights we purchased will no longer work after one month of little use. Will not take a charge. That being said, the other two work flawlessly and are a great addition to our remodeled pantry. Super slim design, magnet for easy removal, and the motion sensor works great. There is an option to turn on to stay on if you need it, but generally for quick in and out retrieving of items, the motion sensor is enough. Minus the one bad unit, we’ve only charged once in 30 days. We do plan on buying a few more for other spots in the house. The slim design, chargeable feature, ease of use and lighting warmth option makes it a pretty good value. In photos, coffee mug is to show reference to slim size. These would work under kitchen cabinets, but be aware you would probably only use them for immediate task lighting and not ambient light as charging would take place quite often. But for a closet or dark cupboard, go for it!

I've tried other products like this before, but this was the best one when it comes to motion detection. It sensed when I was close to it and lit up very quickly. According to the manual, the sensor distance is 3-5 meters, so that's a really good sensor. I was very impressed because I've had products by other companies in the past where I had to wave repeatedly to turn on. This product didn't have that problem. The charging also really impressed me. It didn't need as long as I thought. Also, there was a clear green light that showed when it was done (it's red when charging). This product also has three modes. One mode is always on, one mode turns off the motion sensor during daytime, and one mode has the motion sensor running always. I have it on Auto2, so the motion sensor is running during the day and night. Also, this light is so thin, so it doesn't take up any space if you tape the light. It comes with a built in magnet that can be taped to a surface to attach the light. I'm really impressed that a thin light could be so strong in its lumens.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Great light. It is a good size light. I put it in my closet which has one small light but deep shelves you can’t see into because poor lighting. Very sturdy as you see I dropped it in unboxing video lol. Has a sensor and setting you can also adjust brightness/color. In video it appears yellow but I adjusted and pushed button for a whiter light. Comes with charger strong 3M glue strip that has magnetic side so you can affix/pop off to charge. Great light.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Our kitchen has white LED strips but wanted a warmer LED for our bathroom closet that was always a pain to see.The double sided tape works even though there's is a hole on each plate to install it with screws. The light is sensitive as shown in a video but also turns off after a short period. So far, the light has been bright and doesn't seem to need charging.I love these lights since there are no wiring nor worry about the unit getting hot. While I can do basic electrical and understand the codes, it's never wise when it comes to your own home or even rentals especially in case something may not be covered with something catching on fire.So these are definitely the way to go and if need be, you can always purchase a long micro-USB cord ticked away for easy charging near by!

My wife uses to be annoyed with me keeping the lights on while I study at night, but getting this light was the best purchase I tell you. I easily install it under my study table overhead and when I turn the lights on, they focus exactly where I need them to be and my wife can now get sleep without being bothered by the light lol. I was worried about the battery lasting but I found out I had nothing to worry about as it can go for days without needing to be charged. Overall great product and I think the manufactures thought about normal people like myself because they made the installation process really simple.
