For those not used to using: Grease up both sides of the teeth of the blade with Lithium Grease spray (big box store) before you use it. This removes friction on the blade and it slices like butter. You still have to "saw" but it cuts much better. Be sure to wipe down and spray teeth again AFTER you use it and put back in the sheath. Stand on step stool or 10ft ladder to saw, increases the pressure on the blade. FAR better than a chain saw (which slips, snags, etc). I cut down 6" and 8" limbs diameter on Maple tree no problem! I used mine today to cut 3” oak tree limbs today and it went through them like butter. Blade is amazingly sharp and works better than I could have expected. **Q: Does it come with a storage case?** A: It does not come with a case. I leave it assembled in 2 pieces in the corner of the garage. It works great. I have cut limbs well over my head while standing on a ladder, fully extended, and it was a little work but not bad. just DON'T over tighten the pole sections. hand tight seems to work just fine. around my place, its all soft-wood trees, mostly Apsens. However I plan to use it on some dead Pinon pines soon. **Q: Does this Can be use with an Acme treaded pole ? only yes or no answer . Please don’t need to know any info about the included pole .** A: I am not familiar with the Acme pole but this blade has to be screwed into an end of the pole that has a slot for the blade to be screwed into with two screws and the tool that came with it. Would give it a 5 but it is not 14ft it is 13ft long from the tip of the saw to the bottom of the of the pole, one extra pole section would make it 14ft. The saw blade is sharp a flexible, I got the blade stuck between a falling branch and the tree, it twisted like a pretzel, I thought it was going to be bent but once it let go it popped right back to straight. Once you understand how it saws it works pretty good, I was able to cut through a 9in diameter branch with a little effort but not bad.
