can you connect to pc and make your own sequences?

I don't think there is any option for connecting it to anything except the power cord. Maybe if you take it apart. I don't think it is designed to do that though.

Do you have to build it yourself?

Not this model but the company also sells a Build-It-Yourself kit that's much more expensive. The kit version includes 3 buttons in back that allows you to cycle through the patterns, as well as a USB port to connect to your computer. This version has no USB port and only has an on/off button.

what is the voltage and is it available in Europe plug style

The entry point to the device is what looks like a standard 12v cylindrical power inlet. The other end of the cable is the American style plug and power supply. My guess is that if you buy a European 12v power supply with appropriate polarity it will work with this device just fine.

I see an on/off button and dc power jack, what is the third button for?

My cube is only a couple of months old and does NOT have an additional button on the back... Just the on/off button, and the power connector. Enjoy your cube!
