I use these lightweight storage containers as gifts for teas I blend. They close tight while being easy to open, even for arthritic hands. The contents will stay encased should the can tip. They are sturdy and stylish. I add black craft labels and write the blend name with a white gel pen. The look is distinctive and professional and makes a reasonably priced hostess gift. 8 oz tea capacity is an ample hostess gift with future refills for birthday or Christmas. They are perfect for my purposes.

These have been fab to use as loose-leaf tea storage! I've got a mix of teas in them and have found them effective and helpful. Nice to have a uniform look to the collection, so it doesn't matter where I bought the tea from.

Cute tea boxes
These are attractive metal boxes that felt solid and closed well. I got them to hold teas I made for gifts. If they were a little bigger, they would have been perfect.

Not much to say. Nice little tins. I use them to give away samples of my home roasted coffee. They come decently protected and were undamaged. Perfect for my needs.

Not airtight, and very small capacity
So my bad for not reading through the other comments, and also for incorrectly assuming the size capacity of these tins.The description does say 8 FLUID oz, but given that almost all containers sold describe how much can be held and not how much can be *made* with the contents, I took this listing to mean the tins can hold 8 oz of loose leaf tea. That is wrong - it can only had enough loose leaf tea to make 8oz of actual tea. In other words, rather than fitting a cup of tea leaves, it can few teaspoons full.On top of that, these are absolutely NOT airtight.I'll be using these to store various bits and bobbles in my craft room instead; they're useless to me as tea containers. Oh well

I was looking for compact storage for my loose leaf teas. These are perfect size. Easy to clean and the lids are tight ti maintain freshness.
