Spindle Assembly Replaces Cub Cadet MTD 918-04865A, 918-04865, 618-04636, 918-04636, 618-04636A, 918-04636A…

Bought these for my Cub Cadet tractor. Installed easily. I wanted to replace just the bearings, but I couldn't find them so I went with these spindles. I paid half the price for 2 of them as most places wanted for 1. The grease fitting were a good addition, but due to a lot of reviews saying that they break easily, I changed them out with higher quality ones before installing. I cut my 3 acre lawn and so far they are working out well. I will update this review if anything changes.

Has worked well for me

Fairly easy to install. I installed with the deck on the mower. I used a floor jack to raise to mower about 4 inches. It took me about 30 minutes to change the spindle.

Fit my 48” craftsman without issue. Must grease before installation and the pair takes a lot of it via the zerk.

Seem to work fine easy to install and I like they have grease fittings on them we will see how they last I have only mowed twice since I installed them

Solid part, works well so far. Bearings already packed, grease fitting seems like a good feature, but also feels like a red-herring. A good bearing assembly in this application will last several years without maintenance and without abuse.No cause for concern at this point and I'm happy with the product performance after 4 mulching services over 1 acre.

This review is premature but here it is as of now. Product looks legit and installed easily. I was waiting on new blades so I haven't ran the mower since installing the new spindles. The fitment seems perfect, I measured the OE and the replacement and seems like it should work just like the OE. Bolts are cheap though but hopefully will hold up, I knocking it though until it fails for the price point it seems it can't be beat. I'll update after a few weeks of running the mower.

Grease nipples which is better than original
