Casio Men's Vintage CA53W-1 Calculator Watch

The watch is just as pictured. My husband decided not to keep it because the buttons and screen are too difficult for him to use now, at 70 years old.

Awesome product reminiscent of the one I had 35 years ago

Great retro watch

As an owner of the black version of this watch, the difference in visibility of the display is very marked indeed. Do not buy this version if you are working in anything but bright light. Note the display is meant to be seen from an angle, as if you were using the calculator function. That being said, it’s a lovely colour and you will get used to having a display you need to view at an angle. If you want a more visible display, buy the black version that has a traditional display.

The worst £40 I spent on a Casio product. I like it, but it's just so hard to tell the time on. It needs a backlight.

'Instruction Manual' uses a font size so small I had to use a magnifying class to read the wording. Only to discover that the very dim display is only visible at certain viewing angles and is also a symptom of a low battery. Which the manual states is not covered by warranty even if it had discharged in stock while waiting sale. And had to be changed by a Casio agent. I had to resort to scanning the manual - I couldn't find an online pdf version to download - so that I could read it while using both hands to operate the knobs and buttons. For most of which I had to a plastic stylus as they were too small for my fingers. The manual didn't start by explaining how to set up the date and time but started with explaining how to read the display, then use the calculator. So I don't recommend this watch, and actually advise against buying one, the first time I have been so disappointed.

Chegou muito bem embalado, na caixa com manual. Era como eu gostaria.

çok güzel bir saat 2 yıldır kullanıyorum (yorumumu şimdi yazmak istedim), düğme aralarından su geçirmiyor tabi direk suya sokmuyorum ama lavaboda ellerimi yıkarken mutlaka değiyor ve bir sorun görmedim ayrıca aşırı şık duruyor bir mühendis olarak benimle özdeşleşen bir saat, hesap makinesi olarakta bazen fabrikada telefonumu yanıma almıyorum telsizle dolaşırken makine aralarında 4 işlemi bununla yapıyorum o anlarda da işimi görüyor sadece kadın olduğum için parmaklarım ince ama kalın parmaklı biri belki yanlış tuşlara basabilir bunu dikkate almanızı tavsiye ederim birde ışıklı değil karanlıkta saati göremiyorum bu özelliği dışında alarm kurması işlevi ve duruşu çok güzel

Se ve muy bien el estilo retro lo hace muy llamativo y las funciones son excelentes, muy ligero y el envío fué rápido y el precio es muy aceptable. El único detalle importante a considerar es en la pantalla, el reloj no cuenta con la función Illuminator (LED para iluminación de la pantalla), y además está viene en negativo, lo que dificulta verla y usarla con poca luz, incluso una ligera inclinación podría hacer poco legible la hora, detalle a considerar si van a comprarlo, pues su uso funcional sería en ambientes con buena luz. Personalmente me gustó mucho por todos los demás detalles.
