Easy to put and it helps with pain
Very good, it helps to release the pressure of the tendon that is causing pain while my son does soccer. It is soft but yet provides good resistance.

Really helped alleviate my sons pain
My 15 year old son plays soccer and began developing pain below his knee cap due to Osgood Schlatters. Ordered these in the XS - he's tall and thin and per the measurements it wld fit - he's able to get them tight enough and they don't cut off circulation but there is NO room to grow, so I'll be ordering them in a small, MAYBE a medium so they'll last a while. ☺️Ordered an adult pair previously that were much thicker, too bulky and wouldn't get tight enough. They were uncomfortable to run in he said. These youth ones are much more streamlined and he likes them.

Recommended by trusted soccer coach; and seems to be effective for my 13yo son
The only reason I'm not giving this the full 5-star review is that I'm not the one who is using the brace. I can only go by what my 13yo son tells me, and he seems to feel good about wearing it.Two weeks ago, his knee was bothering him enough that he had to stop all intensive physical activities involving running and jumping -- NOT an easy feat for a super-athletic (soccer and baseball at club-level) and super-social energetic teen boy! After a soccer tournament where my son (goalie) limped his way through three games, we went to urgent care and got the Osgood Schlatter's diagnosis (in X-ray scan), and then his soccer coach recommended this exact brace. (The coach texted me the Amazon link.)Is it an effective tool for Osgood Schlatter's? I believe so -- based on the soccer coach's recommendation, and on the fact that my son has been choosing to wear it continuously for the past week.Granted, by the time he started wearing it, the knee was already improving, since he'd stopped the running and jumping for a few days and had been wearing stabilizing tape (given to us at the urgent-care appointment when the knee was in flare-up mode 10 days ago). So, one could argue that maybe the knee would have improved just as well with the stabilizing tape, or even with just a few days of resting and gentle stretching. But I trust the soccer coach, so my bottom-line assessment is that this brace is worth the investment. My son's knee has improved enough that he was able to get through a goalie practice two days ago (albeit less intense than the usual beating he gets in those private sessions), and he's on track to return to full participation in soccer (tournament in two days) and baseball (practice in four days from today).

Perfect for young athletes
This brace fit my child’s knee and provided much needed support. I would definitely recommend this product.

Very effective and comfortable - knee pain relief right away
My 11 year old son had some recurring knee pain from an injury years ago, and we tried this so see if it would help him get through soccer games until we could get him through physical therapy. He said it made a big difference immediately and he was able to play an entire game of soccer without pain (or pain after taking it off). Ultimately we did have him go through a few weeks of physical therapy to address the underlying causes to his pain so he no longer needs the strap, but it was a very effective help until he had strengthened the knee back up. We had bought two brands of knee straps to try and he liked this one better because the back had a slightly grippy feel which helped it remain in place.

Not enough support
I searched and searched for the appropriate knee brace for my gymnast's "jumper's knee". This one says it's made for that condition and the reviews were good, so I bought it. IF it were tighter, it would do the job well. I ordered the size it recommends for my daughters knee circumference, but it's just too loose. If we put something under it, like gauze or tape, that helps, but I'm disappointed that it's not tight enough on its own to provide the necessary support.

XS too big
We have used several other brands of patella support straps, but I was hoping this one might last longer. Unfortunately, the XS kids is too big for my 10 year old daughter. She’s petite, but we have never had a problem getting other straps to adjust to her size. The design on the Brace Ability strap only allows for adjustment on one side. So it really limits the amount it can be tightened.

Love this purchase!!
Great delivery and item is exactly what I needed! I never realized they sold the youth size and the others always ran too big or stretched out. Love this one!!
