perfect replacement for my Whirpool dryer
When my dryer wouldn't heat I found that this sensor would be the probable cause. It was, it was a perfect fit. Removing the old sensor and installing the replacement requires some fiddling because of the tight space, but I was finally able to secure it in place. So far the dryer works perfectly.

Works perfectly. So far so good.
Replaced the OEM part with no issues. I noticed that the metal is thinner than the OEM part but I don't see that it plays any part in its function. Gave 4 stars because it has been only a few weeks since I replaced the part, but given that there's no moving parts, I expect it to last it for awhile. At half the price of the OEM, I think it's a great value.

Looked good
It looked exactly like the picture, got here quickly and in excellent condition. I have no idea if it worked but my dryer certainly doesn't. This is the second part we've replaced so far though, so I can't blame the part. It's entirely possible my problem is something else entirely.

Worked for 20 minutes
The original switch which came with my dryer lasted 34 years until the contacts burnt and wouldn't make connection. This replacement switch was an exact fit and easy replacement. It lasted all of 20 minutes until the switch shorted out internally and kept the burner igniter energized. As the bi-metallic strip inside the switch heats up, it arches down and makes contact with and spot welds itself to the electrical connection under it. I cut and installed a thin piece of glass, as an electrical insulator, between the bi-metallic strip and the electrical connection below it. The switch works now.

Easy Installation
I used this part as a replacement for an OEM part with a broken tab. Installation was straight forward and the part worked flawlessly.
