Permatex 81630 Ultra Red High Temperature Gasket Maker, 3 oz

I used the Permatex Ultra Red 81630 on a high-heat automotive application, and it performed exactly as expected. It spreads easily, creates a strong, flexible seal, and handles high temperatures without cracking or shrinking. The curing process was straightforward, and once fully cured, it provided a leak-free seal. It's perfect for exhaust manifolds, headers, turbo components, and other high-temperature areas. The 3 oz tube is easy to use and provides enough material for several repairs. I would definitely buy it again for future automotive projects.

Just the rtv you expect from permatex. High quality sealant I've used for years. Buttoned up my old Fiat with a tube of this stuff and haven't seen any leaks or weeps anywhere I used this. Great to have around the garage for when you dont have a gasket on hand

This ultra red is real nice, better than the their regular red silicone. All the ultra permatex silicones are better than the regular ones.

Great product, but make sure you've worked on your grip strength to get this out of the tube. I actually cut a fairly large application port into the lid and it still took all my strength to get this to come out smoothly. Additionally, the metal tube eventually broke in the process before everything was applied. It makes a fantastic seal though and I feel confident that my oil pan gasket replacement will last for the remaining life of the car.

I've had very good luck with these Permatex Gasket Makers and they are my "go to" products for gaskets. I just need to read the specs carefully, follow the instructions and use the right one for the situations they are intended for.
