1/2.7" CCTV 8mm 3.0 Megapixel Board Lens Black for Security Camera

I got my cover back on, but it left a little gap around it. Everything still works, including the night mode and IR LEDs and sensors. Easy to focus.UPDATE June 2021:Pro Tip: You do not have to take the whole WyzeCam apart to install this lens! After doing a few of these, I found this super simple way to do it.1) On the front of the cam, you'll notice between the original lens and the black plastic surround, there's a rubber gasket there.2) Insert slotted screw driver between the lens and the black plastic surround. You'll need to push the rubber gasket in. Don't worry, just go slow and steady.3) Pry the black plastic piece off using the original lens as a lever. It'll pop right out.4) Use a pair of pliers to unscrew the original lens. It is glued in, so it will take some force. I've done this a few times and never lost a camera doing it. I did lose a camera by disassembling one, when the ribbon cables frayed, so in my experience, it's safer to keep the cam intact and force the lens to unscrew by breaking the glue with a bit of strength.5) Screw in the new Xenocam lens. If you screw it in until the set screw for the zoom touches the white case, it'll be almost perfect. Depending on the range of view, you might need to remove the first set screw and continue screwing it in.It sounds kind of scary, but it's pretty easy once you gain the confidence to use a little force. The improvement in image quality is amazing. I'm using half a dozen or so right now and loving every minute of it.

This lens was relatively easy to install, but be aware you might have to search for online videos on how to disassemble your camera. The lens is higher quality than the original. I thought I was going to have to get a new camera (Akaso V50x) after badly scratching my lens. I am delighted with the value of this replacement lens!

Note: this is for the 2.8-12mm 1/2.5" HD 3MP F1.4 lensPros:- Threading fits the Wyze Cam v2 (and v3)- Can be screwed all the way down snuggly (no gluing in place required)- Zoom and focus made it easy to adjust after it was installed.- Locking screws are super handy.Cons (all related wyze cam NOT lens)- Does require dismantling Wyze cam to install (easily done with just a screwdriver)- Removing old lens is tricky because it's superglued in place.- Cover for Wyze cam no longer fits after installing lense (minor)

Was supposed to fit gopro hero 7, it didnt, not even close.

The hole in the body of the camera is significantly smaller than the body of the lens that needs to fit in it. There is also a double stacked circuit board in the V3 where the lens body needs to fit through the hole to even reach the threads on the 2nd board. You can file the plastic hole in the body larger but Im not talking 1/16 - 1/8" off a multi layer circuit board.

I bought it to install my camera in a corner of room to cover both oposite walls and windows. The description says: lens has Angle of View 170 degrees. It should show almost three walls but it shows a bit more than one wall or about 90-100 degree.

okay, I know I shouldn't be using it in a wyze cam v2, but yeah, it works, I do not recommend since it's going to be really tricky to focus since the camera doesn't leave enough space for you to work with a lens this size, it is a great lens in case you want to use!btw I'm using a few wyze v2 as webcams for stream setup and I have multiple lens for them

I installed this to an industrial high speed camera and seems to be of decent quality.There is no IR filter but that was build in to my camera so it was not needed.

I tried this on 3 different cams with numerous spacers and could not get the lens to focus. I tried reaching out to the vendor but did not recieve a reply. Back it went.

It is this good lens that I was looking for
