I drive on the highways and there have been no issues. Cooler & No Sun Travel *by S***W on August 17, 2025* Finally. A sun shade that covers the ENTIRE window and helps reduce the heat in my car so my little one can be comfortable. We unfortunately tried another type of sun shade, but this is the best one. It really reduces the sun so my daughter can drive comfortably. I have a 2001 Toyota Rav 4, and these do in fact fit well on the rear windows. I'm not sure how long these will hold up, as the construction seems pretty light, and the material gets squeezed pretty tightly between the doors and the frame. It's more like a mesh cloth material than a screen, so that's one reason I have concerns about durability. It also means the airflow is probably more constricted than most screens or bugnets. However, it did allow for a decent amount of airflow during warm evenings, which was my main concern. I'ts not clear to me how snugly these fit along the bottom of the windows, and I wasn't in a high-mosquito area, but it did appear to keep most bugs out. Beyond that, the material definitely provides greater shade/privacy when installed. However, they're pretty dark, and very hard to see though, so I wouldn't keep them on while driving. If you do, you need to be very careful to constantly check the larger blind spot it creates. Move very slowly in parking lots, etc. But best just to remove these before driving. All in all, appears a decent purchase so far for the money. I liked being able to get some breeze while sleeping in my Rav4, and it did make a big difference in that regard. We'll see how they hold up over time. But if I can get a couple/few years worth of use for this price, I'll be pretty happy.
