Edge Water Accent Storage Cabinet with Doors, Utility Cabinet, in Chalked Chestnut finish

I was looking for a cart/stand to place my microwave on but wanted it to look more like a piece of furniture. This was perfect and the price was even better! My husband and I put it together in about an hour. It arrived in perfect condition, no missing parts, no flaws, and the directions were easy to follow. We sort the small parts out in muffin tins before we begin. There are typically a few extras they supply but generally if you 've put it together right there shouldn't be more than 1-3 pieces of hardware left over. We had to do some tweaking to adjust the doors but that is to be expected. The directions were very clear. The only additional thing I had to do was run a black marker down the exposed edge of the back panel otherwise you could see the 1/8" raw edge from the side. The drawer had extra support so it won't bow if you put anything but light weight objects in it. Also there is an adjustable shelf behind the doors. Perfect for containers, cookbooks, baskets, etc. We have purchased many Sauder products before (TV stand, book shelves, computer desk, entertainment center) and have always been please with the quality for the price. If you're expecting high quality this isn't it. If you're looking for function and durability at a reasonable price look for Sauder. I have some Sauder pieces that are more than 10 years old, still look great and function as intended.

I bought this stand to be a printer stand because I wanted one without rollers on the bottom. I liked the way it looked, and I didn't see any red flags on assembly. It came quickly (heavy box) and when I got it in the house and took it apart, I was intimidated by the number of parts and long instructions. I'm a 64 year old female who doesn't have any skills in this area. BUT, while it took me a long time (several hours), the directions were OUTSTANDING - easy to follow, complete and thorough! All the parts were perfectly labeled and the hardware came in a handy labeled pouch with separate cells for each part. Not only that, but less expensive furniture often goes together poorly - grooves don't fit, holes don't line up. None of that was true with this piece! it looks great and feels far more solid than I expected. Nice rolling drawer, big storage space inside and great quality for the price! Super happy and I'm a tough critic.

My order arrived without damage, but missing a couple of screws. The start and finish of the assembly was simple, but I got stuck in the middle because I was putting it together by myself and it constantly flexed/wobbled. The cabinet only became reasonably solid when I nailed on the cardboard backing and retightened the cams. It was also tricky to get the rails on the drawer to slide together. Make sure you have the drawer tilted dow ward and pressure it behind the cabinet rails. Also crucial to make sure you have all 4 rails in the correct position. I am using my cabinet for a small coffee bar. It looks expensive and holds a lot of items without taking up too much space. This is the 4th Saunder item I have put together and the instructions are good and all the tools you need are insluded. The quality is quite good for this type of MDF furniture.

Tricky but but make sure screws go in straight and this is a nice cabinet, or you can screw it together with wood screws.

No, this is not a piece of heirloom Chippendale furniture but for someone watching their dollars and wanting a cabinet of this size and configuration this particular product is a high value purchase. I've bought assemble-it-yourself engineered wood products in the past and I don't think you could do much better than this dollar for dollar. The item arrived packaged extremely well and it would take a drop off a two story building to damage the product inside. Internally all bits and pieces were well braced and unblemished. Each item in the box is marked with a unique number and the small hardware is blister packed in marked segments for easy identification. Definitely better than for other products I've purchased. I laid out all the parts and using just a screwdriver and a small hammer (no glue!) I followed the clear and well illustrated step-by-step instructions slowly and carefully. It came together readily in no more than an hour and all parts fit and secured as intended without issue or missing hardware. Hinges worked and aligned as intended and drawer pull slide feels better than anticipated. The cabinet ended up in a small office where space is at a premium and I needed a something with suitable height and sufficient depth to support a mini-fridge (not much out there does). The storage was a bonus. This cabinet, as compared to comparable products, is solid, does the job, provides added storage flexibility, and looks good to boot. Again, a lot of bang for your buck.

This is a great looking cabinet that goes together fairly easily and its very sturdy when you're done. It seems some people chose not to read the instructions completely and therefore run into issues that may scare others away from this cabinet. That is not fair for the seller because, honestly, this is one of the best pieces of furniture I have purchased and it came with very thorough, and easy to follow directions. Addressing 1 star reviews: I saw 1 star reviews complaining about how hard it was to put together and that one woman's husband (who happened to be a carpenter) couldn't figure it out and gave up. This is incredibly hard to believe as the included instructions are among the best I've ever seen with a piece of furniture. I completed it in about 1.5 hours and am not very handy around the house. I saw another one star with a video that shows the cabinet wobbling while sitting upright and completely unstable. This is because they put on the top shelf, but DID NOT tighten the hidden screws as instructed. I experienced the same wobble and at first thought it would be completely unusable, then I read the next step and tightened the hidden screw assembly things. (don't remember what they're called) After tightening those hidden screws, the cabinet was completely sturdy and had ZERO WOBBLE.

Assembly took 2 days. When finally done we had 1 last piece the front drawer panel. They sent a little glue to line it up and glue on. It did not line up in the grooves and the glue was not helpful at all. When we pull the drawer out the whole front panel comes off. Do not recommend at all!

I really love the look of this cabinet, it really fits the purpose I bought it for. Down side is after my husband assembled it (multiple pieces) he noticed there were some flaws on the top piece, dings in the finish and on the back edge it looks like someone tried to glue some broken pieces back together. We contacted Amazon to see if the top piece could be replaced, but they said no. They offered for us to return for full refund or replacement or a partial refund if we kept the cabinet. It was too overwhelming to try to return the cabinet already assembled, so we accepted the partial refund. It's a little frustrating to buy something brand new and have it arrive damaged. Other than the flaws it is a very nice piece, drawers and cabinet doors work nicely, smooth opening and closing. I recommend if you purchase to examine all pieces before assembling.
