I have been looking for something to help me work on 1911s even better. This is great for framework and other 1911 applications. This will also work with a vise and the Tipton Ultra gun vise.

Fits my vise perfectly

it is good for general cleaning and small parts swapping. Dont expect it to hold if you plan to do some real torqueing (not that you should be given the nature of 1911 frames). i dont have the Tipton cleaning station it is designed for but I do have a reliable, versatile bench vise. i simply made a block of wood and sunk two nuts in it from the bottom side. The bolts that are meant to lock in the Tipton station screw into these and the whole thing locks in the vise....wha-la.

i like the 1911 mag well vise block ,it is a recommended add on to the tipton gun vise.i was a little bit concerned about the fact that it is made of some sort of plastic, but it is very solid when dealing with 1911 overall a good product.
