The lancet device has 6 settings so you can pick the setting that is best for you. It has 4 alarm reminders so you can set it to remind you to check your blood sugar. It also has a large display screen and memory recall. It definitely is user friendly. The case is a nice size, so it is easy to take it along with you. I really like this monitor and I highly recommend it.

I especially love the convenient black zippered carrying case/wallet because it has little sections with elastic, velcro, and netting to hold all the little parts in place so you can toss it in your bag and go! Everything you need is included inside the kit, even the 3V battery for the meter which I really appreciated! There are100 Lancets with twist off tops, 100 test strips, a lancing device, lots of instructions, and even control solution to check for accuracy! (See video/pictures) the meter is fast and easy to read, and there are 4 alarm settings. I would definitely recommend purchasing this!

The lancing device has 6 different stick settings. So no hard pokes. You can barely feel it. It comes with 100 Lancets and test strips. The quick start guide was all pictures and with easily followed instructions. It has a five second reading with alarms. It has a very big screen so it is easy to read.I am very happy with the price point and everything this monitoring system comes with.

I'm a nurse, and I bought this for personal use on the advice of my HCP. I'm surprised at how pleased I am with this glucometer kit. Setup/programming of the monitor is explained step by step in the manual, although that part can be skipped if you need immediate blood sugar testing capability. But - don't skip the programming, it takes 5 minutes, it's easy and your blood sugar history with accurate date/time is important. The meter and strips are user friendly - just slide in a strip and the meter turns on. The lancet has 6 penetration depths; I use #2 and press the lancet pen body firmly against the side (not pad!) of my finger and get an adequate blood sample every time. I always follow the directions to briskly rub hands together before sampling, and then raise my arm over my head and forcefully swing it down toward the floor several times to achieve a little bit of backup in the capillaries (thank you, centrifugal force). There is only one control solution needed, and it is important to check a control before first use, weekly, with a bottle of new strips, and with a bottle of new control solution. Always wipe away the first drop of blood after the fingers tick with lancet pen, and then squeeze a fresh drop of blood for your sample on the test strip. This little kit has everything you need for home monitoring.

This is my first glucoses monitoring device, and while I don't have diabetes, I felt it was time for me to monitor my blood sugar. I highly recommend this device, since it comes with everything needed in order to accurately test blood glucose levels.

I have never had a test kit before and now that I need one I wanted to get a good one that wasn't too complicated. I did a lot of research before I decided on this one. It came today and It was EASY to set up. It came with tons of instructions with pictures so you couldn't go wrong. I am very pleased. It came with everything you need. If you go to their website and register they will extend your warranty. That's the sign of a good company. They also have 24 hour service.

Great product with easy to read instructions. They even provide an all picture instruction guide! It comes with everything mentioned in the description: glucose monitor, 2 bags of 50 lancets, 2 vials of 50 strips, 1 control solution, 1 lancet device & a case to hold everything. So far my results seem to be very accurate and the control solution was in the correct range. I tested it twice & received the same result.
