Although plastic, these hooks seem fairly rugged, and so far haven't deformed due to normal weight hanging from them for a year or so. Being plastic, they won't rust or corrode in damp environments, like metal hooks sometimes do. The upward-angled hook helps to keep the hung object from sliding off. The length of these hooks is optimum for many hanging objects, but may be too short or too long for certain particular objects - still, they seem to be a good compromise for length and strength. I was a little disappointed that the stabilizing tabs didn't work better. They do help some, but not as much as I had expected - probably because they rely on the weight of the object hung on them to hold the tabs tight against the pegboard - so if the object moves, the hook can still move too. They also tend to come out of the pegboard almost as easily as metal hooks do when the hung object is lifted off of the hooks - but the relatively large diameter of these hooks does add some "drag" against the peg hole, which makes these hooks stay in place a little bit better than similar metal hooks. Generally, I found these to be a good alternative to metal hooks - although I'm still a bit leery of hanging heavy objects on them. They may be OK for that, but it's too soon to tell how they'll hold up over long times.

these are for 3/16' pegboard. They are loose in the 1/4' pegboard. I missed that there was no specific size when i ordered. Very good product though,

These are light plastic hooks intended for insertion into the standard holes of the pegboards you often find in shops and garages. They are much lighter than the metal hooks you commonly see, but they are fairly sturdy and should take a lot of weight. They fit securely into the holes and have a second prong to study them in the hole below the mounting hole. They should work very well in any standard pegboard.This package contains 100 of the same design: a straight hook that projects upward at a slight angle from the surface of the pegboard. The hook is about 2 inches long. This is very useful for hanging tools like wrenches with a hole in the handle, or anything similar. (There are other specialized designs for hanging other kinds of things.)

These work great with the peg board I purchased. They hold up my canvas prints I have for display and sell just fine!

I bought these hoping they fit the ikea pegboard, they don't. These would probably work best for light weight stuff, the plastic feels like it wouldn't hold up to anything heavy. But if you are looking to use in a craft room, they would be great.
