Made for the shade!
These are really great! Very easy to install… A small handheld screw gun would be helpful… And they handle the weather just fine! I roll them up when I want the sunshine… And let them down when it’s time to relax… I recommend them! And remember… Take them down in the winter! You don’t need them and I’m not so sure how they would handle snow and ice! Up here in New York it gets kind of brutal in the winter at times.

Great lasting wuality
These are amazing! We have had them for 5 years on our deck to keep out light (decent), wind (amazing), and rain (amazing) and they are still going strong. The bungees holding them down give way long before these blinds would. Highly recommend!

The blinds are perfect.
Blinds have perfect dimensions. Instructions were spot on, no issues. The one complaint is the pulleys installation slight difficult but mainly due to my indoor screen frame and indoor siding I had to screw into. Had to use thicker screws. First blind I installed did take an hour and a half but the second one, much easier once you understand the pulleys and the way you install the string. These blinds will be facing due west located in NW Florida so very, very intense sun. I would guess the blinds cut down half the light, which def then includes the heat. Will be great for a bit cooler temp to. Price is perfect. If cut down on more light, these blinds would've warranted 5 stars.

Look great. Expect end caps to be broken, but they are still functional
I bought 3 of the 8' x 6' shades. Installation was pretty easy to do by myself. All 3 of the boxes had loose pieces you could hear sliding around which turn out to be the end caps. 3 or 4 out of the 6 in every box were broken. This is entirely due to careless package design. A simple plastic spacer could hold the poles apart. None the less they don't really affect the products functionality. Two tips. First check to see if the Allen screw fits through the tube hole and if tight use a drill to enlarge any that don't. Second loosen the existing Allen screw so the joiner has a little play to make it easier to screw in the Allen screw then tighten them all. I'm hoping these help keep rain out aside from providing shade but it hasn't rained since they went up. I wish Amazon stocked a 9' width as this doesn't quite cover the end so I'll probably find some similar fabric to Install permanently at the end.

Nice shades but a bit cumbersome
Shades are very nice when finally assembled and hung. It definitely helps with blocking the Sun and helping to keep deck cooler. On the negative side quality control could be better as a few pieces missing and assembly rods had some issues with holes being larger than screws. Had to compensate for that. Directions could be a little clearer especially for the cord assembly. We ordered the 84” and definitely needs 2 people.

I mounted it without screwing it into my pergola
I needed some cover for my east facing side of my pergola so I figured this might be a great fit. We have storms in the south, so I thought the price was right for the risk. Picked it up and it was as expected. I didn't use screws to mount it. Instead I used tie straps. It's a very simple product. I usually roll it up when I get's windy. No issues so far and provides air flow and easy up and down. It's a quick and cheap way to keep the family cool.

Don’t waste your money
How do I hate this piece of garbage.. let me count the ways - 1. Missing parts. Based on other reviews, there is absolutely zero quality control for this made in Chlna piece of crap. 2. So thin you can use it as a cast net to catch bluegill. Seriously, if you’re trying to block the sun (which is basically the only reason to buy a shade) this is totally worthless. Maybe it’s okay for indirect sunlight but not for west facing windows in the evening. 3. Assembly. Picture the cheapest screws, string, and little poles that you screw together and are so flimsy they look like they can barely support their own weight. Now picture using those parts to follow the joke of instructions to run a string through little pulleys and tying it together. 4. Overpriced. I could see maybe twenty bucks at THE MOST for this but the quality is so cheap that I would be surprised if it lasts 6 months. I will be returning.

Great for keeping the sun out.
This is a great product to block out that unwanted sun. It was easy to install and works well. You might want to add another cleat to roll the excess cord up on when you pull it up. I had a spare hook laying around and placed it about a foot lower than the cleat so I could wind the excess cord around them both and avoid the multiple tiny loops around the cleat provided. Beware is does just about completely block all breezes as well. If you have a fan on the porch it is perfect.
