Watch band clasp attaches with standard sprung micro-pins to leather wristbands. Easy. Extra pins and tool provided. Craftsmanship, materials, and finish are incomparable BEST — how do they make it so inexpensive? I have an enormous 9-inch mens wrist, so extra long strap length is essential for fit and safety. This product works. YOU CANNOT FIND A BETTER METAL CLASP AT ANY PRICE.

I can only give 4 stars because it looks good, but this is actually not very comfortable because of how much the buttons stick out. This also causes it to inadvertently open from wrist movement. I don't have these problem with my stock clasp on a different watch, so I know they can be overcome. Luckily my band and the other parts on this guy are stiff enough that the watch has never fallen off or even really gotten loose from this happening, but often I will look down and see it isn't closed all the way. I think you can do better, but I'm not annoyed enough to replace it.

Looks nice and works great The reason I gave three stars is because I did not receive the 4 spring pins and tool. If they would send those to me I would give 5 stars.

High quality for my watch

Item arrived quickly and well packaged. Included spring bars and a spring bar tool. The deployant is well made and finished very nicely with decorative tooling on the inner bracket makes it look more expensive than what I paid for it. The deployant release bottons work smoothly and there are no sharp edges on the finish. It was simple to install with the provided pieces. It looks great on the lizard strap on my vintage watch.

The mechanism works flawless, shipping had no issues. The design is sleek amd the gold plating looks great and has no visible flaws. This would be the perfect clasp replacement except that the release mechanism has very sharp unrounded corners that dig into your wrist from the moment you put it on. These should come rounded or beveled from the factory. I would do it myself but the issue is I would expose the stainless steel underneath, as this is gold plated. I really wanted to love this product but the fact that it goes from mildly annoying to completely unwearable in about 10 minutes means I simply cannot recommend this item. I will have to look for a different clasp.

Wie immer schneller Versand durch AMAZON Prime. Da mein Uhren-Armlederband abgenützt war, wollte ich nun eine Erneuerung durchführen, mit einen Hirsch Lederband, das ich noch auf Vorrat hatte. Gleichzeitig wollte ich aber auch den alten Verschluß wechseln auf eine iStrap Faltschließe. Die IStrap Faltschließe in Gold ist sehr schön gefertigt, von guter Qualität und leicht auszuwechseln. Bei der Lieferung lagen noch ein Werkzeugstift und 4 passende Federstifte zur Montage bei. Über diese Faltschließe kann ich nichts negatives angeben, auch die Verriegelung hält gut. Leider mußte ich aber dann nach der Endmontage feststellen, daß trotz der richtigen Abmaße der Schließe, die Lage der Uhr mit meinen Hirsch Lederband nicht gut zusammen passt. Der Verschluß ist im geschlossenen Zustand nicht in der Mitte des Armes auf der Rückseite, die Uhr ist daher vorne verzogen. Die Ursache dafür ist mein eigenes Lederband, das bei dem oberen Teil des Lederbandes zu lang ist (Verschlußteil kurz 9cm und lang 12mm). Zu beachten ist, dass der Lederbandteil beim kurzen Verschluß nicht länger als 70mm-max 75 mm sein soll, damit dann alles richtig in der Mitte ist und gut aussieht. Habe mein eigenes Lederband wieder abmontiert und ein neues iStrap Lederband bei AMAZON bestellt, damit dann alles richtig zusammenpasst. Möchte noch dazu bemerken, dass ein iStrap Lederband mit Faltschließe (zusammen) viel billiger kommt, als der Kauf der Einzelteile. Faszit: man kann nicht alle Lederbänder mit der Faltschließe verwenden, unbedingt vorher die beiden Längen der Uhrbandteile messen, oder den oberen Teil kürzen, wenn dies überhaupt möglich ist (weil oft vernäht und verklebt). Den Verschluß selbst würde ich aber wieder kaufen.
