Not round nor high bounce
SHAPE: As others have already mentioned, the ball does not feel or look spherical. Mostly where the black lines are, the composite leather material around it creates a lot of uneven dents and some parts worse than others. This affects the bounce and grip if you end up shooting and catch a divot.BOUNCE: I just picked up basketball for the first time during the pandemic and only had experience with Spalding's NBA Street ball prior to this one. I pumped it to the max 9 psi regulation and it still takes me way too much effort to get the ball to bounce high enough for ball handling.I haven't returned the item yet as I was wondering if breaking the ball in would make a difference, but two weeks in and I'm still not liking this ball.2nd star because it does have good material, but what good is material when the quality of the ball is below mediocre?

Expected more
While it felt great out of the box and for a few weeks after, it wore fast with indoor use and just a small amount of bouncing outdoors (not full game play). We expected more from such a highly rated ball. It's too hard and smooth now. Personally, I feel their are better options at the local brick and mortar stores. It holds air fine and the size is good. It's just too smooth for indoor, and wears too easily for outdoor.

Love this ball
Love this ball. It will wear out eventually if used outdoors. I can't say enough how this I/O ball feels like the game balls used indoors. I bought two, my son keeps one for practice outdoors in the driveway, the other to take to school to use in the gym.

Nice ball but a little pricey given the immediate peeling of the cover
I bought this ball because it was an NBA sized all-surface ball. After using it for 3-4 hours I see some areas where the covering is beginning to peel off the rubber (see picture). This is too be expected after some time, but this seemed pretty quick. Well be monitoring it further during the return window. Otherwise it is a very nice ball, with good grip and consistent bounce.

He shoots... but never scores.
Reviews aren’t my thing but I figured it’s 2018 so why not. This ball bounces. It can bounce high or low depending on how much force you put into moving it. I feel like Larry Bird shooting this thing. Wind in my hair, I shoot... beautiful backspin on it due to the lovely grip and feel (I can palm this thing and I have hobbit hands)... unfortunately my shot is about as bad as this review. It’s a good ball. Good game. It’ll probably serve you well if you keep out out the rain and don’t lose it.

Smaller than Professional size!
I was excited to order this ball as it has great reviews but when it was delivered it did not come in any type of original packaging and more importantly the size was smaller than a professional ball by at least .5 to an inch. Felt more like a women's professional ball. What I'm guessing is they bought these balls in balk off of a product recall for it being to small and just shipped them. If you are expecting a men's professional size ball this is not it. I've played basketball my whole life and knew instantly it was small.

No Manufacturer Packaging!!
I received the ball as pictured but be cautioned! It does not come in the manufacturer's packaging. Just the ball in a crunched shipping box. I ordered this for a gift and am very disappointed. It looks like I purchased it from a garage sale.

Okay for outdoors, not so much for indoors
Got this ball based on recommendations I read online. This ball is not too great for indoors. I realize it's an indoor/outdoor ball, so it's not optimum for indoors, but I've seen better indoor/outdoor balls. It's a bit stiff and not supple. It doesn't have the good tack you expect when using a ball indoors. It's okay for outdoors since it has to hold up to rougher surfaces and it seems pretty durable, although I've been using it mainly indoors as a backup. The Wilson Evolution is much better for indoors, although it costs about $20 more.

Uneven and lopsided
Received the ball and it was pretty obvious right off the bat that it was not a perfect sphere shape. It was lopsided and that affects the bounce quite a bit. I understand that this isn't an official NBA ball but you would still think that it being perfectly spherical as a baseline standard. It was probably a manufacturing defect or an issue that somehow got past quality control. That being said, the grip and material on the ball is great. I might update my review once I return and get a proper ball back.

Not a Quality Product!
Originally bought the zi/o, and then realized the newer Excel edition exists. Got an exchange, and was that a bad idea! As soon as I received the Excel, it immediately felt like inferior material to the zi/o. There were manufacturing defects like printed paint residue where it shouldn't be, imprecise stitching, and WORST of all, the ball isn't perfectly round! Quality control on this new product seems pretty terrible. You can see from the reviews on Amazon Canada and US that many others have faced this same issue. I decided to switch back to the original zi/o.

great look, difficult to grip outdoors
The ball looks and feels great but after playing outdoors for a week I feel like it collects dust easily while playing and it loses its grip. It also feels a bit heavy but maybe I didnt inflate it properly; it says 7-9 psi but i have no way of telling what that is.When i play pick up however, they choose this ball over others so it must be good

Lighter and more bouncier than usuall
I bought this basketball used from Amazon and found that the ball was much lighter than the usual men's basketball. I also noticed that it was bouncier than the average men's outdoor basketball. I may have gotten a women's ball instead given that I purchased the used one.
