I absolutely loved using the DAS Air-Hardening Modeling Clay, 2.2 Lb. Block! It was soft and easy to work with right out of the package, making sculpting really enjoyable even as a beginner. The clay held details well, dried evenly without needing a kiln, and had a nice smooth finish once hardened. I also appreciated that it didn’t crack easily as long as it dried slowly. The large block gives you plenty to work with for multiple projects. Overall, such a fun and reliable clay for crafting, sculpting, or trying out new creative hobbies — definitely a 5/5 for me!

This is my go-to clay for branches and vines. It requires water to shape but works beautifully. It sticks well to just about any surface. Takes about 12 hours to fully harden so it allows you ample time to sculpt and mold. It’s easy to clean up just takes a soapy sponge. It’s so much fun to work with! It works well for molds and can be easily sculpted with tools. I prime with Gesso prior to painting and Find that gives the best results. Store it in a ziplock bag with a wet paper towel to keep moist.

I really like the versatility and how flexible & soft this clay was right out of the bag. It was easy to use and suitable for my six-year-old kid. I’m excited to try and make a few little dishes and jewelry holders with it. I also have low fire clay and access to a kiln, but it’s not always easy to transport bone dry pieces that we make from home. This should be a nice alternative. I plan to paint with acrylic paint and then seal with resin. It was not that messy, I would suggest working on a surface that is easy to wipe down after or laying down messy mats. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this again, in fact, I’m glad I bought two because I know we will use them quickly!

I love the idea of easy, no fuss, air drying clay and this product delivered on that. It easy to roll out and make shapes or whatever you want and my products dried within 24 hours. The only thing I was dissatisfied with is that it came with no instructions. I wasn’t sure how long to let it dry for, how thick to roll the product out, if I could use water to help mold it. I ultimately searched and watched YouTube videos, but I wish it would have been labeled quick and easy on the package. I would still recommend because it was a great product!For reference though: minimum dry time of 12 hours. Up to 36 hours.I would roll out a bit thicker than you think bc it seemed to flatten as it dried.

It was hard to figure out at first but very good! Took a while to dry. Btw, hot glue does not work on it until it’s dry. We painted over it and the paint held well!

I buy this clay constantly. It has never dried up on me when still in the package. If you remove it from the package to use it I store what I don't use in airtight Ziplock bags and it works great. Starts out grey but dries white-ish. Depending on how much you use depends on how long it takes to dry. Also depending on what you making it can crack while drying so be aware that if you have cracks on the inside of the clay when you leave it to dry it those can come through. But I think that has more to do with the user then the clay. I have a pic but I sculpt for fun so no judgement. The white flower has not been panted yet but I use acrylic paint and seal it. Both flowers were used with reused clay that I re-wet I would not recommend that it makes the clay grainy but did work. The hat has not been sealed yet. But there you go.

The only air-dry clay I use. I have created many, many projects with this clay and have never had any cracking or chipping problems from this clay. It holds up beautifully. Keep it sealed and it will last a very long time. I have opened packages in ziplock bags that are just as fresh as when first opened. Easy to work with and mold.

Good quality air-dry clay. Easy to work with. Drys pretty quickly, which is good when you're drying the final product; however, it can get dry quite quickly when working with it, so you do have to be pretty quick when handling the clay. Other than that, it makes very durable charms which haven't cracked or broken yet. Easy to sand and paint on. Good for beginners.

Es war das erste mal, dass ich mit dieser Modelliermasse gearbeitet habe. Zuvor habe ich 2 kleine Feenhäuser mit anderer Masse hergestelltGeliefert wurde schnellDie modelliermasse war prima verpackt, fühlte sich beim Herauanehmen etwas zäh an, wurde aber durch das Kneten schön geschmeidig. Hat sich an jedem Untergrund ( plastikflaschen, Alufolie und Kleber ) sehr gut angepasst. Die Folie habe ich vorher mit ganz wenig Wasser betupft.Leider hatte ich zu wenig bestellt und bei der nachbestellung dann aus Versehen die graue modelliermasse bestellt. Aber auch die ließ sich genau so toll wie die Weiße verarbeiten. Das gesamte Feenhaus war dann innerhalb 2 Tagen total trocken und auch ausgehärtet. Beim modellieren habe ich oft die Hände stark angefeuchtet damit sich die Masse auch gut verstreichen ließ. Dennoch war nicht nach dem Trocknen gerissen oder war geschrumpft.Angemalt habe ich zuerst die graue Masse mit weiß und danach das Ganze Häuschen gestrichen (mit acrylfarbe)Die Fenster habe ich im Anschluss mit feuchten wattestäbchen geputzt und auch da behielt die Masse Ihre Form.Im Frühjahr werde ich dann nochmal mit Bootslack darüber streichenKurz gesagt, es ist eine supertolle Modelliermasse, ließ sich klasse verarbeiten, der Eigengeruch war nicht so schlimm wie viele geschrieben habenIch habe bereits wieder diese Modelliermasse bestellt, denn es werden noch einige Projekte damit entstehenAlso immer wieder gerneSehr empfehlenswert

Après en avoir essayé dans de nombreuses marques DAS est de loin la meilleure des pâtes auto durcissante .Elle se travaille très facilement , elle sèche vite sans craqueler , j'ai obtenu que de très bons résultats pour mes diverses et nombreuses créations. Je la recommande !
